I've only played Absolution and thought it was amazing. Why do you say it was pretty awful? I'm not challenging your opinion, but I'm curious how the predecessors differed.

Oh I do want to do those! I attempted the first one right when it unlocked and it… did not go well. Ever since, I've noped it out of the encounters. I have just a couple more upgrades to do, and I still need an elite plan or 2, so I guess I still have a fair amount of piratin' and treasure huntin' to do.
I'm having better success with the line gun, actually. But I am trying to upgrade both it and the plasma and my rig. I haven't touched the stasis or that other thing you can upgrade… The power cores sure are few and far between
Yes, just keep trying that first part over until you get it. It's not very long, so hopefully it won't be too frustrating. Keep in mind that there will also be a learning curve for both the parkour and the fighting parts of the game, which turns many people off, but I find they become second nature once you get the…
I do remember that and I thought it was strange it started that way. There were naval battles in AC III and the controls are similar if not the same, so having played the other games can be beneficial. I recommend trying to power through because the game is so much fun. I loved just being in its world, exploring…
I completed the main memory sequences of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag early this week, so I'm debating on going through and cleaning up all the chests and animus fragments and such. I also want to hack all the computers in Abstergo.
I'm just a guy who can pull off a bowtie.
The thought of Chris and Jack fighting conjures images of Napoleon and Kip slapping each other
Me too. I hope the LLN does an very extensive Previously, because I hardly remember anything from last season.
I have been sacrificing zee captains to the Sunless Sea for about a month now, and I also have a love/hate relationship with the game. The world building is just so well done and interesting that I keep coming back for more.
I'm going to play Salt & Sanctuary, hoping to finish it. I'm really enjoying pretty much everything about it - the gameplay, the aesthetic, the variety of weapons and builds, the Dark Souls sensibility.
All this weekend? I want to do this with the Assassin's Creed series, but haven't gotten around to it. And now, with news of the remastered Ezio trilogy coming out, I might wait for that.
This game sounds fascinating, and it made me think of this article I found in my internet wanderings this week: How My Friends Described Some Colors To Me When I Couldn't See The descriptions seem spot on to me.
Here's a rule for you: git yr frikkin' arcblades outta ma face!

Maybe I've been playing too much GTA V lately, but the beginning of this article sounds exactly like the Radio Mirror Park DJ.
My goals this week are to finish the story mode in GTA V and to get my dex/int character in Dark Souls III ready to go into NG+ (she's at Aldrich, now).
Oooh, I forgot I got this! I'll be interested to hear your thoughts.
I've been playing Grand Theft Auto V, story mode, and there is so much content, and most of it really fun. I'm not a big fan of racing, but I've enjoyed the flying, the parachuting, the underwater exploring, just driving around listening to the radio - (who listens to OTA radio anymore?). Also, the story has actually…
Thanks! I laughed twice within 5 mins, so I'm going to enjoy him.
