Thanks for the encouragement. I think I will eventually play them, but another reason I'm down about them is that I did not like my ending in Origins. Part of me wants to go back and re-do it, but another part says to "play it as it lays." Although, I've heard it really doesn't matter too much in the other games. But

That's probably true, but it's been so long since we tried, I don't rightly remember what turned us off. I know the treatment of Facts of Life's Cousin Geri disturbed me.

That seals it. Pre-ordered! Boom!

I'll have to take your word on Dan from Deadwood. We tried to watch it, but yet another critically-acclaimed show we could not get into (c.f. The Wire and Mad Men).

I completely understand about beginning at the beginning.

Yikes, I was looking forward to The Witcher 3, cause it looks like it will be awesome. I've not played any of the other Witcher games. Hopefully they've improved it on the gender relations front.

No kids, here, so I cannot contribute to that discussion.

That is awesome, break a leg/strain your throat/best of luck to you!

Yup, I learned my lesson with the Walking Dead games. I came late to them, and was able to play Season 1 on my own schedule, but played Season 2 in drips & drabs as released. It was so frustrating.

My wife and I have tried 3x to watch the Wire, and we never make it through the 1st season. I'm not sure why, it just doesn't click with us. I'm resigned to missing out on whatever is great about it.

It really is. Buffy's "I quit" scene is one of the highlights of the series for me. "Tell me my future!" "I'm sixteen. I don't want to die."

I don't understand the Broadchurch reference (I've only seen the first season) but I agree with the punishment!

Can we agree that we all need more Raven Symone in our lives?

Mine too!

It does seem kind of rude, but I watched the JtF PallyFest panel, and apparently it is typical behavior in bilingual families, at least I think that is what Gina said.

He was great. He was competent, but still had a heart. I did go with Jane, even though I don't trust her to prioritize Clem's survival, because Kenny was just too unstable.

Kenny, Jane, whatever. I was still grieving Luke. I really thought he was going to keep Clem safe till the end. Should have known.

Is Rogelio the only character that responds in Spanish to Alba? If so, what does that signify?

Yes, you have to be in the same physical area, and within 10 levels + 10% of beckoner's level (At least it is assumed that's the case). There's an online calculator to see what the range is for a particular level.

I've not played the story at all, really, but I love the online play. However, the other day I was trying to increase my strength stat by running up & down the pier indescriminately punching everyone, men and women and mimes, and I thought, What the hell am I doing?
