Sansa’s warning isn’t merely, “Hey, he’s going to do this thing.” It’s, “You should anticipate he’s going to do this thing and I’m telling you now so that when it happens tomorrow you recognize it and don’t do something stupid.” Jon charged in impulsively and only realized afterwards that he’d done exactly what Sansa

It was useful advice because she was trying to warn him against abandoning his carefully laid plan. Remember? The plan was to let Ramsey’s troops charge, and dig ditches so they couldn’t use a pincer formation? Davos says they have to let Ramsey come to them. But instead, Ramsey does exactly what Sansa says he’s going

Sansa specifically tells Jon that Ramsay will probably use Rickon’s death to fuck Jon up.

I have to imagine that the show wasn’t about a sympathetic Emperor so much as this lady gangster scored a victory against the Emperor in such a way that he found deeply troubling.

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of Sapho that thoughts acquire speed, the lips acquire stains, stains become a warning. It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.

Man...Watchmen are part of the DC universe now? I mean, I know what Moore’s original plan was but the way they book exists currently...

But can it be said to drive policy?

All of the movie’s in this trilogy do this, and really reward repeat viewings.

OR all of those.

Found this on Tumblr, too. Not sure who to give the credit to.

Yeah, Maz is gonna be pissed.

Recall, too, that even though the FO’s TIE fighters look like the Empire’s, some of them apparently have rear gunners, torpedo launchers, and are fast and maneuverable enough to give a seasoned X-Wing pilot a thrill.

Right! And the X-Wings in TFA, while still X-Wings, are not the same X-Wings, so it’s likely they’ve been in service for a shorter period of time.

This was my guess as well - the X-Wings in TFA are clearly newer than the ones in the original trilogy, but I imagine the New Republic has a lot more going on. As for the TIE Fighters - emulating the Empire seems to be the First Order’s thing.

Now it may just be a year and a half away.

Filthy Tleilaxu.

...pedantism...

“The point is...you’re still alive when they start to paint you.”

When attempts to go viral go wrong.
