Apparently, he thought we all did.

Speaking of The Court Jester, last month I rewatched The Inspector General (1949) and it is still really funny.

Everybody wants to be the next Andy Rooney. The problem is we never actually liked the first one.

Dax Shepard married Kristen Bell for the money.

It seemed pretty obvious that all he wanted was the adulation and the grift. The actual work bored him but then again, he’s always been like that.

I just Googled it for funsies and all you need is two years residence in NC. She’s got loads of time.

He doesn’t need to. They all gave in to him.

Maybe people need the “they’ve got blackmail on him” story because then they can believe he’s redeemable (he was pals with McCain, after all!) but the fact of the matter is he’s an opportunistic politician that realizes he has little personal charisma so he needs to latch on to one of the popular kids to get any

The idea that Lara (or Ivanka in FL) would get to the Senate and be a participating member hard to swallow, to say the least. I imaging both would be highly disappointed that they wouldn’t just get to run the place on day one.

He says what everyone is thinking!

Like most cult leaders, their followers aren’t happy with substitutes

Republicans held all three branches of government but the government was still the enemy. Go figure.

Remember those predictions that after the insurrection at the Capitol, that there would be a reckoning within the Republican Party, and that Donald Trump and Trumpism would be repudiated?

Did anyone think this was going to work? Seriously? The idea that seventeen out of fifty Republican Senators were going to choose country over party is insane.
