Hell yes. Most states have mandatory retirement ages for judges so why not politicians?

Not only is there literally nothing the Dems could have done to stop this, there is literally nothing to stop the Republicans from adding another few judges in the next couple of months in the event of a Biden victory.

You know what they say, no one wants to be successful like a guy with millionaires for parents and in-laws.

If Trump’s people were able to suggest “Hey, let’s go with the ‘Biden’s son uses his position to get money and power he doesn’t otherwise deserve’” and kept a straight face while doing so they deserve a goddamn Academy Award.
