This is similar to how it works in the aviation world when pilots talk to ATC. The ATC personel gives the pilot a set of instructions like, “turn to a heading of 270, maintain 8,000 ft.” Then the pilot recites the instructions to make sure they are completely understood. If the pilot recites the instructions

Same here. I had a WDTV for a while for the file support, but moved to roku/plex and I love it. I have full HD movies with DTS 5.1 soundtracks on my NAS which runs the plex server software. So I can fire up the roku and stream anything without transcoding and it passes through the audio to my receiver with no problem.

They have a habit of producing half baked pet projects that were never really thought out. e.g. google tv, nexus q...

I recommend ubiquiti’s AP. These things have great range and a nice web-interface to change settings. They also easily scale to work with one another and provide one seamless wireless network under the same SSID. And they can be mounted anywhere.

Aside from the standard verizon shitsuite of apps, I love my original turbo. I’ve only legitimately run out of battery late in the evening a few times from extreme use. It’s just a great combination of UI, from the moto version of android as well as the best specs you can find in a smartphone. I also like the phone

There’s also a theory floating around that he’s the new emperor!! Or at least that he’s a bad guy. Seriously doubt it... but there has to be some REASON we haven’t seen him much.

I just don’t see the advantage over a Roku aside from price. A Roku3 has a lot of the same casting ability, although screen mirroring isn’t as well developed.

That’s what I would like to know too. I saw that it reduces the decibels inside the helmet, but does that actually reduce hearing loss over a regular one?

The car itself ran on regular gasoline. Doc was referring to the electrical circuits and time traveling equipment in that dialogue. If you’ll remember in B2F 3, Marty realizes the fuel line is severed after he escapes the Indians and hides the time machine in the cave.

It sounds like a lot of it could be prevented by 1) keeping it covered when not using it. 2) Don’t let it get rained on. 3) If it does get rained on dry it or dump it out before putting the cover back on.

Actually he probably would’ve said, “Hey, the real car you want is that Camaro just ahead. ”

This is awesome, but I think an RFID bracelet would have been cooler. Just walk up and lift from any grip or position, walk away, immovable object. The fingerprint scanner is less “magical”.

Looks like it might be an easier chore to bring the mechanics and parts to the rig!

I also have a VM Motori designed engine in my Grand Cherokee. The 3.0L “ecodiesel” that’s also available in the RAM 1500. It’s been a great motor. I think the nice thing about this diesel tech we’re seeing in the US is it’s been thoroughly tested in other (European) markets for a long time. Sure there are emissions

Now I want to see a bearded super-saiyan.

Any word on audio specs? I see an optical out, but I wonder if it can handle pass-through audio and what types of encoded audio it supports, like DTS-HD.

Hey I’ve got another gripe about that game. Why the hell would my FF DST (Seahawks) be penalized for Russell Wilson coughing it up and the Lions getting a scoop and score?! Ridiculous.

All the small rectifier diodes will eventually combine to form the ultimate rectifier!
