Didn't know MI6 was in a Faraday cage. Good call.

There really putting this much effort into catching a gas thief? I used to work at a gas station in Houston and I had drive-offs every week during the summer of 08.

Good call

It might be a tight fit on some pants, and perhaps be a little large against your face, but for some people I think it wouldn't be that crazy of a device. If you have large pockets or just don't care about the tight fit then thats fine, and the call issue can be solved by a bluetooth headset.

I don't think this Hindi guy knows anything about guns. He said the gunshot sounded like a small caliber. I don't know how they do things in South Carolina, but you typically don't hunt birds with anything but a shotgun.

Did I miss April Fools or something?

This is so ridiculously off topic. You don't like America. We get it. So don't visit (we won't be offended)

Smart move. If I had any money to spare, I would've done the same

For $100, the 900 will definitely be in my pocket (as long as its as nice as it looks)

Is anyone else just a little bit leery of this, given how tightly Apple likes to control things? As much as I love the iPhone, I hope Lytro resists the inevitable demand that Apple have an exclusive partnership

I really respect Woz's ability to not be an Apple fanboy. I'm glad he is able to find the advantages of other platforms and admit Apple's shortcomings.

Am I the only one who gets annoyed that nobody will put an HDMI out on an AIO?

Is it weird that I think it looks really cool and want one?

1. Get over it.

ok this might be a stupid question, but isn't it weird how they do all that work just to convert the RF signal from the satellite back to another RF signal in the end? Shouldn't there be a way to cut out all that work and just get all those channels directly to the subscriber in RF form?

You're forgetting to mention that a nuclear device is not the only way to create an EMP. There are non-nuclear devices that can do this, so nuclear capability is not required. Also, the sun can have a similar, naturally-occurring effect on electrical devices. Not to be a scaremonger, but the threat of an EMP is real.

Its funny how the driver thinks that the vet is going to go to prison for this. Give me a break dude. And second, are those guys even allowed to attack someone for vandalizing property? I'm pretty sure physical violence is only legally allowed when defending people from physical violence. Anyone know more about that?

Why is this article on Gizmodo? Political discussions seem more up Gawker's alley

Not that I'm complaining, but how long is it going to take the cops to figure out how easy it is for people to mess with these signs? Seriously.

This happened to me once, and I did have a lock on my homescreen. On my Optimus T, if you use pattern unlock, there is a button on the unlock screen that says "emergency" and apparently I dialed it once by accident. The only way I have found to make the "emergency" button go away is to use swipe to unlock. No patterns
