Isn’t Glossier one of those Instagram/YouTube brands? I see it mentioned a lot online but I don’t know anyone who uses it nor has it ever been recommended to me.

Why so snarky? I think it’s pretty cool that Weiss created ITG and Glossier and is such a success. I use some of their stuff - the stretch concealer is the best I ever tried, and I even tried Clé de Peau. Cosmetics is 75% marketing (just using a random figure here, you know what I mean) and she clearly knows what…
How bummed would you be if you called in hoping to speak with Queen of Queens Barbra Streisand and got stuck talking to Jared Fucking Leto?
Amen!

Pyrex Clear Storage Containers. Far and away the best as they will never stain or crack and the lids are replaceable and inexpensive. Tons of different sizes and shapes. I’ve replaced almost all of my old plastic crap except for a few even smaller ones that go in the kids lunch boxes.

So sorry to hear about your cat. I always take the loss of a pet harder than I do people, so all the sympathy to you.
This advice is so good that I’m thinking about taking it even though I’m happily married with no children.
‘One curriculum’ doesn’t mean ‘this is the only precise set of activities we ever do’. There’s tons of room in pretty much every subject area and pretty much every learning goal to address most skill levels.....IF you work in a country that doesn’t demand asinine standardized testing constantly.
You obviously don’t have kids in public school. None of those things are free. $40 technology fee (insurance on the issued laptop; $40 band fee (on top of instrument rental at $24/month); $60 fees just to pick up schedule; $50 per sport athletic fee and we pay for our own equipment (shoes, goggles, stick,…
I had reduced lunch throughout my entire elementary, middle, and high school. I’m now an officer in the Army, so I think that the government has more than recouped the paltry amount they spent on keeping me from starving as a kid.
I’ve never understood why it wasn’t free to begin with in public school systems. The books are free, the desks are free, the sports equipment is free, the A/C is free - but the cafeteria isn’t?
And yet somewhere in the bowels of the RNC HQ (fig. 1), I guarantee Betsy DeVos is furiously writing a proposal to hire her dipshit brother’s mercenaries to stand at the end of the lunch lines, slapping trays out of the hands of 8-year olds and handing them bootstraps. Because we live in garbage times now.
Kids should eat. People should have food. Food shouldn’t be politicised.
