Here’s my dog. He’s a total fucking disaster and is riddled with mental issues. He wasn’t socialized at all before we got him, and that has really fucked him up. He has a behaviorist and is on two anxiety medications. Our lives revolve around his dumb ass.

Just had my year anniversary with this rescue dog. She’s come a long way from the shivering mess I had to peel off the windows on the first night.

Emma, the source of all joy and light in my life, rescued from a animal hoarder at age 2. Now is a total cuddle bug who likes to be the little spoon.

We’re currently fostering a dog who was a stray in L.A. for who knows how long. When we got him 2 months ago, he was nothing but bones and fur. He’s much fatter now, but he’s very damaged/traumatized. He was featured on our local news station this week, as the adoptable dog of the week.

I fostered a couple and found good homes for them but then THIS one came along and I fell in love. She had a ton of issues - mange, ear and jaw infection, massive separation anxiety - the works. But the heart wants what the heart wants. 10 years next month!
