Pretty simple, frankly. FF14 has one of the only non toxic communities gaming. The add ons here are parses. If they add that to the game it will be used almost exclusively to shit on people.

This is just incorrect. Almost every From game has had a massive nerf patch within a month of launch. Remember what bleed looked like at launch in DS3? All the things they needed here were way, way too good. They didn't get needed into the ground, either, they're still very effective. They just aren't spammable…
