Everyone who works for him seems super satisfied with the environment. I think it’s probably a pretty cool, empowering place to be employed.
I mean, Jason got a major title upgrade recently, so that might be part of it.
Play out your rookie deal, take the RFA tender, and then sign with whoever the hell you want.
Exactly. Everyone is acting like he is on his rookie contract and wanted out, but he opted to stay, even when it was pretty clear when he got his extension that the Pelicans were terribly run.
But he’s not actually paying money to leave. He could turn down the money, but he’s not actually losing anything. He doesn’t have something that he then has to give back.
I expect you’ll have many fun conversations about nuance and lawns and the like when you enter into a similarly binding contracts, including, but not limited to, marriage, cell phone carriers, or a 4-year deal with the Knicks!
Millions and millions of spites, which I assume is the national currency of Saltistan.
Boogie was a free agent. He opted to leave, as is his prerogative. #bobbybrown
Yeah, so that’s how the real world works. You can leave a job/pursue another opportunity for the uncertainty-but-potential-upside of another employer, or you can stay with what you know and your routines and coworkers and lunch spots. Or in this case, a few million on top of what is already an obscene amount of money.
Ummm, you don’t want to be there? Don’t sign the extension. Let’s not forget that he committed to 2 more years with the Pels.
Apropos to nothing:
I think it would as simple as Homer getting served court documents one day, since a lawsuit revealed him as the true owner of the team. Since he has no money to pay for a coach, he does it himself.
I would very much like to see a followup to that episode. A great Simpsons football movie is very much needed in this day and age.
+1 Krakauer
WHO ARE THESE THREE-LETTER CHARLATANS AND THEIR SABR’S AND MIXERS?
I agree. No way that the Sixers earned all of those 31 free throws.
Hey, let’s leave the mothers out of this.
Why do we require a reason? Sometimes it’s personal. And she doesn’t owe us any explanation.
Oh, the meltdown happening amongst Lakers fans right now is marrrrrvelous.
