You missed one:

No, not really. While I detest Amazon’s labor practices, it’s not like small businesses are giving their cashiers/clerks $15 and hour and PTO; with few exceptions retail labor is treated like trash at all levels. So I think it would be virtue signaling to act like opting for a slightly-less-awful option is really much

I would submit that if you are lifting so much weight that you can’t steadily lift/drop the bar, that in and of itself is a matter of ego.

Maybe this is in the video, but I can’t watch it right now: never, never, ever clip the weights when you bench by yourself. If you find yourself in a compromising position, you want to be able to rock the bar and tips the weights off so you can ultimately slide it off.

Going to go against the grain and say do *not* go to The Church Brew Works. The atmosphere is awesome, but the beer and food are only OK, and if you are visiting Pittsburgh for a short period there are much better breweries and eateries to visit.

I find that equally silly. I mean look, if you want to watch a replay without knowing the outcome in advance, that’s your prerogative...But expecting anyone, let alone a site which prominently reports on such events, to accommodate that situation, isn’t realistic. Events are news, news gets reported, reporting isn’t

Really? We’re going to play the ‘spoilers’ card over real-life events? Does it upset you when people tell you news in advance, or what dish is really good at a restaurant?

You don’t seem to understand, Brazil is most certainly not butt. So until you understand the difference, PLEASE refrain from commenting on this website. Thank you.

Was Maddox really this bad? I remember him being a cynical bastard, but I don’t remember him being an outright misogynistic asshole.

Yeah, all of what I’m saying is coming from my experience as a professional fundraiser for a private school that serves low-income students. Our ‘program’ percentage is somewhere around 85%, but a disproportionate amount of that is simply teacher salaries/benefits (which is our biggest budget line-item by a large

But that’s an arbitrary way to look at it. Maybe the $70 charity has a much better rate of success; maybe the $70 charity serves 3x as many families and needs the additional overhead to grow/sustain itself; maybe the $70 charity also has services that fall outside the realm of legal representation (e.g. case

The ‘<20% toward overhead’ rule of thumb is an extremely bad rule of thumb.

Nothing about those two photos instills enough confidence to say those two women are one in the same, so unless you have some harder evidence, that tweet/this post may look really bad in hindsight.

I’d much rather have parity and unpredictable results than clear front-runners steamroll their way through the competition; the former is what makes the NCAA Tournament one of the best events in sports. I don’t watch tournaments because I care who the best team is, I watch them to be entertained.

Another night, I found myself on the escalator behind ex-Arizona State head coach Todd Graham.

Ctrl + F = ‘butt’, ‘trash’

I sat in the opposite corner in front of some Villanova fans...They spent the entire game complaining about the lack of over-the-back calls on Radford, and whined anytime their fans cheered or applauded (apparently it is an affront to the basketball gods to cheer when you are down 20+ points). The woman in the group

I mean, Ciri does explicitly reference a Cyberpunk-sounding world, sooo...

One thing the article doesn’t mention is that he made a bunch of weird bets over beating the trilogy by certain dates. One bet was to beat it by the end of January, otherwise he would have to shave his head on stream; he lost it. Another one was to beat it by Valentines Day, otherwise he’d have to wear make up on a

Matta, Hurley, and Crean are considered the top candidates; knowing the Pitt athletic department the way I do, none of those three will be coaching Pitt basketball next year.
