I miss the old Big East, but Duke/UNC/ND/SU/UVA is still a pretty good slate of exciting conference opponents.

One chain pizza that I will always hype up is Pizza Hut’s Thin n’ Crispy. I love it and legitimately think it’s good pizza, mainly because it’s hard to find places that do thin crust like that.

I agree completely.

I’m genuinely surprised the article didn’t open with, ‘The Washington Wizards, who are butt...’

It’s moderately filling; I would usually have one for breakfast along with a banana or apple, and that was more than enough to get me through the morning.

Pitt is an urban school, and much more urban than Nova (which is in the suburbs).

As a fellow Pitt alum, I’m just happy for the miserable company.

Given you’re in Pittsburgh, do you prefer TCW or Ascend?

Word; when I read it for the first time, it blew my mind that Bradburry described iPods decades before they existed.

Prediction: The Winds of Winter still won’t be out.

I’m 28 and I’ve done both of these, so this cut deep.

Yeah, I’m honestly totally OK with it; it’s more soccer to watch, so sign me up. I’ve never understood why people rail against meaningless competitions (like bowl games between 6-6 teams)...Sports are, first and foremost, entertainment, and having more games/matches/tournaments/events to be entertained by is an

How am I being nonsensical? I’m saying that, in my experience, more women than not expect men to buy an engagement ring; that experience has been strong enough that I feel confident in seeing it as a general experience. That isn’t commentary on those women being ‘greedy’ or men being ‘put-upon’, it’s commentary on the

Re: everything you said, I never claimed otherwise. Of course anecdotal experience isn’t scientific, and of course there are men who buy into it. But this isn’t about ‘grasping greedy women’ (which I wouldn’t necessarily label these women) or ‘put-upon martyr men’ (same for the men), it’s about simple societal

I’m not an alone-ass bachelor and I’m not a virgin; though I know women who have been everywhere on the spectrum, from ‘let’s elope and go fuck our way through a couple AirBnBs’ to ‘I want nothing less than a $60k wedding’, most of the women I know are closer to the latter. You can call it what you want - social

Aldi take-and-bakes have made delivery pizza almost irrelevant to me. $5.99 for an 18” pizza that’s on the better side of decent? Sold.

Hmm, if only Kotaku had a well-connected author on staff with a number of CDPR sources...

Which is dumb; parental leave is a benefit, just like vacation/sick time, health insurance, retirement matching, etc. You are always working for it.

To put into perspective how easy it is to never notice this statue even exists, I’ve also lived in Pittsburgh nearly my entire life, went to Pitt, and almost never notice the 85 foot long dinosaur statue to it.

Greg Paulus played at Syracuse, not Illinois.
