Serious question -- So, why did you go see it?  You don’t have to go see movies just because media or even peers say you should.  I didn’t even watch most of the trailers for Joker, let alone go watch the movie.

This is a very good point. No one cares about a monopoly on that ‘one good movie’, everyone just wants to show blockbuster of the year candidate #X week after week all summer long.

You say that, but I’d like to see some itemized reasons.  Cuz, I’m not really sure it is different.  And you mention Netflix.  What about Disney+?

Right, but you could look at it the other way and say that maybe these rules should also apply to streaming services and if you have a public movie streaming service, you have to show more movies than just your own. That’s an interesting though isn’t it? I don’t know how they would ever get that through and working,

I thought he was saying that he was the bully? The last part of the story made this clear, right?

What? How?

I don’t think the original TMNT cartoon was on nick, it was syndicated (I watched it on FOX affiliate after school).  Even though Nick bought and owns TMNT now, they might not have that actual cartoon.

Probably not.

forgot about Nick toons.  kappa mikey was a pretty good show for what it was.

Right, but what if you gave them money for new series while also playing the back catalog.

Hell yes.  Nick might not actually own it though.  If you go back and look at it now, it was definitely Canadian made, not a nick original.  I’m not actually sure if Nick had any ‘originals’ back in the days of the early to mid 80s.

If I go dig out my cd player from 1998, it will still play CDs. My NES can still play every NES cartridge I own. There really is something to be said about forced software upgrades breaking perfectly good working equipment.

spoiled. loser.

Your opinions are just fine.  Maybe you wouldn’t be annoying if he agreed with all your opinions, the ass.

I’ve been kind of looking for comments like this. I read the series years ago, and have never brought myself to suggesting it to anyone because of this. My ratings for the 3 books are — 10, 6, 2. First book, one of the best books I’ve ever read; the second book, pretty good book but meandered and I didn’t love all the

Yes.  This was bad.  This was the polar opposite of the excellent TV that the pilot was.

Cuz, why not!  It’s symbolism!  Esmail is a hack!

No. You all have to stop with this nonsense. We’re almost done with the last season, and the only person ever that was actually not real was Mr. Robot.

Esmail hasn’t known what to do with any of these characters since he made the pilot. Everything after the pilot has been a flailing mess.  Sometimes entertaining, but never with any focus.

Thank you. Incidentally, my grade, D-. I really don’t know what the fuck the reviewer and some of these commenters are watching or want to watch.
