Im surprised the truck bed bumps the price up that much... Dually beds aren’t hard to come by on Craigslist in most places.  Also, these things ride like trash unless they’re loaded down with a full service body full of tools and parts, so i guess i don’t see the desire for a truck bed anyway.

watching that CX-5 take control is scary to me. Watch the speedo comparing the two tests: The A110 exits the test at ~55 kph, which the CX-5, while applying brakes WITHOUT lighting the brake lights, exits at closer to 35 before the driver applies the brakes.  There’s way more to “better handling” than tagging a cone…

More than just the track - it doesn’t have the supporting community/infrastructure. There aren’t enough 5 star hotels nearby to be able to bring the egos along with the F1 week of activities. Nascar gets away with it, because, hey, RV’s work too, but F1 couldn’t do that. Their tracks need to have a major city nearby…

well... the Carrera-Panamericana was a road race through Mexico.  The Panamerican highway is an overland route from Prudhoe Bay to Ushuaia..... So while very loosely related, they are two very different things.  All that said, the Darian Gap crossing attempts are pretty fascinating

it also looks EXACTLY like what you’d expect a Harley ADV bike to be.  A bagger with a lift and knobbies.  That headlight/speaker surround/drink holder that they have on big bikes has always looked like trash, and in ADV spec, its no different.
