If I never see Kylo or Rey again in any format or venue it’ll be too soon. Read more

TLJ never happened. Who cares. Put an animatronic Grogu inside the build-a-lightsaber temple room and watch big kids like me fork over $200 everytime I visit just to get a glimpse of him. The fact is The Mandalorian is more Star Wars than the last trilogy ever was. Read more

That’s what it comes down to. The entire park can, and should, be rethemed to a different time period. I think they know they blew it in the end with the sequels. Read more

I could frankly give a crap about seeing Kylo or Rey - but Bo-Katan, Din or Ahsoka? I’m there. Read more

I don’t think Luke’s appearance in the Mandalorian finale was empty fan service or a lack of creative imagination. Yes, there is an element of Star Wars stuck in the past but that seems mostly because there’s unfinished business. Luke showing up fulfilled in a small part what the sequel trilogies denied an audience,

I think you just defined why I did not care for the sequels. I didn’t WANT movies where Han Solo is murdered by his son or Luke Skywalker is broken and bitter. However, my 10-year-old saw it differently. “Hey, dad, why is Rey looking for a shortcut in training Finn?” Read more

There is no one that knows how to Star Wars than Dave Filoni. He is the true heir to George Lucas’s vision, most definitely not Kathleen Kennedy. Kennedy has made a mess of the Star Wars universe, just look to the upcoming High Republic storyline, what do Jedi fear? Why space pirates and evil plant creatures of Read more

The treatment of droids is weird, anyway.... Given how they’re treated as objects, despite obviously being sentient.. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone found a way to program them to feel pain just to torture them... Read more

He definitely works better as a supporting character; as a protagonist they couldn’t resist making him a hero. Read more

Calodan?

I made it through season one of The Punisher, but thought it was disappointing. The second season is the only netflix marvel thing I couldn’t bring myself to finish. What even was that. Read more

Yeah, I think the Punisher works best as an antagonist against an actual hero. I tried to watch his Netflix series, but I got the vibe they were making him what real-life paranoid militia gun-nuts WISH they could be, and those kooks don’t need the encouragement. Read more

Are we SURE it’s not got a tie to Sean Bean?

One of the updates killed my Nexus 7 (2nd generation). It went into a boot loop after that. Called Google support, who told me to let it loop. Well, that solved the boot loop. It wouldn’t boot any more after a day of that. Google said “Oops. Looks like you’re out of warranty. Sorry.” Read more
