PSS and other sport tires are known to have chunking issues when they are exposed to the prolonged heat and friction of track days. Basically they fall apart.
i once got told i couldn’t wear a tanktop at a BEACH BAR
your daily reminder that people are trying to implement this policy as a LAW to prevent people from voting
my evidence professor said it best: “if i walk into this lecture shaking off a wet umbrella there is only circumstantial evidence that it is raining. circumstantial evidence can be pretty strong”
sounds like we are comparing e34s to e34s
don’t you losers remember Ronin?
You can finance a near-new car relatively cheaply with good credit. I bought a BRZ with 30k miles on it for ~60% the cost of a new one and financed through the local credit union at ~2%. Previous owner took the big hit in the meatiest part of the depreciation curve and i got a reliable, newish ride for Toyota Yaris…
honestly not much different. the challenger RT is $33k today and you are getting a lot of costly tech and safety features to go with it. obviously it is also a way better car all around and has just as much cheap power.
last year on my birthday my GF surprised me with a couple laps on an auto-x course with an instructor in a Ferrari F430. Wasn’t super long or intense but it was a fun experience and got to check off a bucket list item. All track time is good time. If you have the funds to kick it up you can go up to Porsche track…
for an older car timing belt/chain check (since it can grenade your engine if its wrong), oil and fluid change, spark plug change if it hasn’t been done in a while. For a sporty car with that kind of mileage i am also checking on the condition of the shocks and thinking about upgrades. i have heard tales of track rat…
why should children not be shamed for bad behavior?
dude it would be awesome if the LC-F was like a GT3 RS version of the LC. Big wing, high end rubber, carbon roof, etc. The LC is not a pure sports car like the 911, so it won’t be quite the performance monster but even if curiosity’s sake i would love to see what a hardcore version looks like
i just hope there will be a manual when they eventually do a performance version
i’m not against modified cars by any means but every one who tries to improve upon the looks of the FD RX7 is spitting in god’s face and deserves all the bad things in life to happen to them and them alone
Samantha Bee is funny and talented, but i don’t think her show is that great. Nobody denies that Keith Richard was a brilliant guitarist but people aren’t lining up for a solo album either.
have you heard hotel california?
or a CTS-V with an EMP that knocks out the flatbed that was likely used to steal the car
i travel for work a lot and i’ve been in all kinds of shitty rental cars and tbh they all just kind of blur together
