CP all day long. You can get a 100 series land cruiser or a lexus GX for half this price and spend the rest on off-roading/overlanding mods and you’ll have a superior base, that will last a half million miles. If you must have something newer you are in 5-6 year old 4Runner territory. $27k could also get you a brand

put the mustang drivetrain into one of these bad boys and you could depopulate the west coast after a single cars and coffee

that is literally the future Betsy Devos is fighting for

retro seats are cancer. of all the things to emulate from classic cars, disgusting, hideous vinyl bench seats are pretty low on the list. don’t get me started on the revolting seats in the golf either.

higher peak horsepower is better than a flat powerband (within reason) provided you know how to keep the car within the power band in the first place (i.e. a racecar driver on a track). in the real world a ZR1 feels way faster than a GT3 because as soon as you step on it it flings you back in your seat from 2000rpm.

ok but cars with 700 lb-feet are going to lose to this car all day. nevermind that it doesn’t make peak torque until 6000 rpm which is a joke in this era of forced induction. torque is really for hooning in daily driving conditions and bailing out bad drivers when they take a turn incorrectly and lose too much speed.

i think enough time has passed that you can strip it out and call it a homebrew gt3 interior

996 c4s was the pinnacle imo. the turbo/facelift headlights look way better than the original 996 lights and the turbo front end is both clean and just aggressive enough. the ass is among the best in the history of porsches and IMO the size and proportions are the most “right” of any 911.

that’s the second person acckkkkshually (pushes up glasses)

maybe the “torque wins races” idiots will shut the heck up now

you can still get the regular GT3 in manual so i would say porsche is staying ahead of the curve. gt3 RS is just supposed to be the best of the best and the fastest of the fast without any compromises for street driving or “driver enjoyment.” its a pure track spec car.

i have to say 996 porsches with the facelifted/turbo headlights have aged surprisingly well

TBH its actually fat fucks that are buying CUVs because they can’t get in and out of a regular car

This. I daily/track drive a BRZ and i’m waiting for gas to hit $4-5/gal so that the prices bottom out on 80 and 100 series Toyota Landcruisers. It would be a nice luxury to have a landcruiser for truck things and offroading and i get to keep a fun, practical daily that averages 29mpg in mixed driving. Today’s car

how can you be scared of a car getting beat if you want to drive rally cross? even if the subie has been vape abused you’re going to do just as much damage to it in the first track session.

but they still know they will if they fuck up. no difference between them and GM/Chrysler. Heck we bailed out Chrysler even though they were a privately held company lmao sucks to be us

unless my friends are paying rent they can find their own damn parking or pay for it sorry

Medicare (government run) actually runs way smoother than the quasi open market alternative and guns are virtually unregulated in most states

A. the fact that you chose to base the NYC experience off of a times square “attraction” of all things tells me you don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about

perhaps donald is in possession of a melania pee tape that she badly doesn’t want revealed
