when people absent mindedly drift into your lane or merge without looking and honk at you for being there

my gf is like this only with the tube of toothpaste. she just places the cap on without screwing it in. if we get the kind with the hinged cap she puts the cap on without closing the cap enough to “click” it closed. there is always toothpaste in the cap.

someone here has never listened to fucking CREED

two days ago my gf and i were making breakfast for dinner and i asked her if she wanted turkey sausage. and she looked at me and said in complete dead eyesthat turkey sausage was fucking disgusting. i said “you buy that jenny o sausage all the time” and she said to me without any whisper of irony “THATS SPICY ITALIAN

hate to be devils avocado here, but doesn’t that indicate that power is not the issue?

show me the track times. if we are fixating on the trivial and inconsistent comparison between 5.8 vs 6.1 seconds to 60 then you’re going to have an argument with the wall because neither of these are fast cars to 60 and the 86 tops out in 2nd gear at 58 mph which shows you how much the people who designed the car

thats the track spec miata compared with the base spec brz. i.e. upgraded shocks, brakes and wheels. the base miata and base 86 both had essentially identical times at streets of willow. nobody has a lap time for the BRZ tS yet but i imagine the performance boost is as good if not better than the base to track version

according to zeroto60times.com:

me reading these comments from people talking about having to rev up to get the power like its a BAD thing in a sports car

the 86 has the most powerful n/a 4 cylinder on the market today

how much do you think a gear weighs? also these are torque converter autos, no clutches. CVT is trash and the only thing its good for is gaming MPG testing.

except there are tons of cars that are very different that share the same tranny yet they make a perfect pair. the old aisin 6 speed for example has been in use since the 90s and it comes in the miata, silvia, rx8, FT86, s2000, etc. The ZF 8 speed is equally at home in cars as disparate as Range Rover, A7, Charger,

1. 911 - the prototype balanced, disciplined sports car that does everything right. i had a 911 bookmark in 3rd grade and from that moment i always knew i wanted one.

i would have to think that engine swaps are way more common and even economical for this car than aftermarket turbos. I’ve seen a lot of people either going with a 2zz, or the v6 out of the solara/sienna, or even yet swapping a turbo model engine into a non-turbo shell. Its never going to be a car that’s going to get

Tein is one of those rare companies that makes both a very good version of a product and an incredibly shitty version. the monoflex is a pretty good track/street suspension but all the basic coilovers they sell essentially just serve to slam the car, performance be damned.

i use cruise control often, but even when i am not using it i like to hit the button sometimes to turn it on and off without setting the speed. my first car was a stripper ek civic hatch that didn’t have cruise control but my last two cars have had very satisfying buttons for the cruise control. next time i am in the

i adore the dodge viper but it is impossible to take two v10 gas engines with similar displacement that have more disparate character. the dodge is a torquey, fat, truck engine and the BMW revs to 8000 and doesn’t give up the goods until you are up in the rev range. ironically, i think the BMW would be better suited

Trader Joes is a grocery store for people who don’t know how to use the stove prove me wrong.

yes. it is an engineering benchmark/dick measuring contest. from an automotive fan/nerd perspective its nice to see what these engineers can do when they all vie to be king of the same hill and their companies unleash them.
