do people actually want a stick in an off-roader? this isn’t the same conversation as “PDK is faster than manual” - trying to navigate tricky areas without putting down too much power at once seems like a clutch-killing endeavor.

throwing out the evora and caterham for price/street legality reasons i’d say the 86 platform crushes the GT350 and Camaro in handling. the vette would be pretty close. with the mustang and camaro you are talking about cars with imperfect weight distribution, a far higher center of gravity, and 1000-1500 lbs more

you’re talking about literally the best handling car under $70k

nope. the explanation from toyobaru is that it screws up the center of gravity on the car (which at the time it was released was among the lowest ever). the car also has a double bubble roof shape which gives you extra headroom for wearing a helmet but kind of precludes sunroofs.

there has been a well-documented accusation throughout the years that he cannot read a balance sheet. he has acknowledged that he does not read the agreements/leases that he signs.

and the annoying 2nd/3rd gear lockout

you are subhuman

sorry this is the christopher dorner truck forever more

can’t believe that at one point in the 90s Nissan was making the Skyline (in 2dr, 4dr, and turbo versions), the 300zx (in 2+2 and coupe and turbo versions), the silvia (in coupe and hatch and turbo options) and the Nissan Patrol. At the same time Mitsubishi was making the 3000GT VR4, Eclipse GSX, Galant VR4, Lancer

they were popular before MAGA hats were invented

this is a gang

The Toyota is more robust and a lot easier to work on, but i agree the difference is overblown. in a fair world the price difference for nice examples would be maybe 20% not where supra turbos cost 3x as much as 300zx turbos.

except with that much power and tire and that kind of setup you really can’t drive the car the way it was meant to be driven on the street. its a track car that hasn’t seen the track which i think makes it a bit of an exercise in kabuki theatre.

a handful of cars look really good in silver. i prefer colored cars in general but look at this

people will hate this car and call it a vapemobile if they see it on the street but jizz themselves if hans puts it on display.

Clean S2000s

fatties gonna fat

the beige was strictly a 2000s era thing. in the 90s they had the GTFOUR, LC 80 and 100 series, Supra, MR2. Even in the early 2000s they were still making a decent fwd Celica and trying with the MR-S.

its not the technical details. they don’t want their $80-100k car to share the drivetrain of Dale’s chevy. Badge engineering has been one of the biggest factors in impeding Cadillac’s success. The more it seems like the chevy the less people will treat it like a flagship/halo car. See: XLR
