the FWD RS is the Focus ST and an aftermarket flash. IMO ford has a better thing going than Subaru, who makes it harder and harder to justify the jump from base WRX to STI. Honda still has the Si so they could conceivably do an AWD type R, but they seem to have complete amnesia over what the Si is supposed to be.

it has performance tires in 235 where the BRZ/86 has economy tires in 205, and breaks traction regularly. I have a BRZ with pilot super sports in 225 and its a totally different car than the base models. unfortunately Toyota and Subaru only put good tires on the limited edition models like the BRZ tS.

have you actually driven both cars? my cousin bought an ecoboost around the same time i bought a BRZ, we both like driving eachother’s cars because the experience is so completely different both in spirited driving and day to day. The mustang can’t corner for shit compared to the BRZ and the BRZ is a slowmobile…
