Oh, come on. It’s a bog-standard econobox wagon. An econobox wagon in Texas where it’s not an F-150. Being not an F-150 in Texas means it’s roughly worth the cost of the tires on an F-150. Let the econobox wagon go. It is nothing rare, special, or anything worth holding onto. Asking “is it going to be worth something”

Same here. Toyota Land Cruiser has the ceiling-mounted DVD player. Works like a champ. Giving my son an iPad while trekking through the mountains of Colorado is all but a guaranteed stop for vomit cleanup. Looking forward and slightly up solves that problem.

I absolutely love mine. Lifted 2.5" and on Toyo OpenCountry AT2 tires. Unbelievable off road.

Agreed. I had (uninsured motorist totaled) a ‘13 TDI Touareg. Very nice vehicle, well built, comfortable, efficient, and powerful. I miss it daily. Replaced it with a ‘15 Toyota Highlander Limited. If it were totaled tomorrow, I’d walk out of it, throw it in the trash and buy something else. I hate it but it makes a

While I was born and raised in TX and spent the first 26 years of my life (and will never live there again.) There are shockingly few toll roads. The ones which do exist are extremely cheap to drive on and surprisingly well maintained.

Still goes to show: a good rider on a slow bike will beat a bad rider on a fast bike anytime! Awesome.

4th Gear: ‘Maybe Fiat Chrysler Could Build The Apple Car,’ Sergio Says.

As a native Texan (who got out) this makes me shake my head. Born, raised, never going back. ...And I grew up right outside Austin...the only semi-sane part of TX. It’s getting worse by the day.

Impressive!

So are you the person who actually bought a 200 from a real dealer and not as a used rental???

I’ve looked at the JGC a couple of times; however the Chrysler battle scars I still have from an ‘07 JGC and an ‘05 Durango put me direct in the never-again box. Then I went and rented a ‘14 JGC with 3K miles on it to see what all the fuss was about. It broke down on the side of I-5 in Seattle. Still not buying

This. I love my ‘13. Bought it a year off-lease from a dealer in Chicago for cash and drove it home to Denver. They hold their value well and it will do whatever I have thrown at it with ease (and air-conditioned seats.) I got it at auction value in Chicago at 58K + tax/tag/license. Cost me about 66K by the time I got

I wonder how they’ll get home? A nice airline ticket to DEN perhaps?

Jeep Grand Cherokees targeting a ‘sophisticated audience?’ It’s more like ‘my first semi-luxury with an 84-month loan’ audience. Never mind the full rental complement...

Yeah, I use it for SatNav address entry. Mostly because my ‘13 Land Cruiser will not allow me to type and drive. Believe it or not, it works surprisingly well — especially after setting it up for short-command mode.

Well done Doug! Not only is it a gorgeous car which the depreciation gods have smiled upon, it can also give your RR a run for its Carmax warranty money!

Makes sense Tom! We have a ‘13 Land Cruiser (mine) and a ‘15 Highlander (hers.) I hate the Highlander for its boredom and blandness, yet I love it since it’s relatively cheap to operate, extremely reliable, and nice enough. It’s also damned-near a minivan without all the nice things that make a minivan badass. The

Agreed — the first one looks like it has sofa casters on it...wtf???

I love my ‘13 crusher. Black on black. Looked at the GX for the wife and decided we didn’t need 2 ‘antiquated’ SUVs. She has a ‘15 highlander which is likely the most boring vehicle I’ve ever driven. Reliable though...

How about: Volkswagen. Beating Chrysler in Reliability. Shocking.
