Having had an LR3, it was a very nice and very capable vehicle. The interior seemed cheap. I would say it is definitely as capable off-road as the Land Cruiser, but no where near as nice inside. Since all those off road goodies are available now what we are really getting is a new transmission and a great looking interior. I’m okay with this. Also, sounds like a 8 speed tundra is coming, maybe they will finally drop the axle ratio in the rear now to get mileage in the high teens low 20’s. BTW, OTA is amazing…

Bought a Lexus gx last month. Absolutely love it. A big Lexus or Toyota is the only answer. Nothing else on the market is designed to last as long.
