The fact that the Outback now has a turbo puts it in the list of contenders when it’s time for a new car. I couldn’t stand either of the NA versions. So...slow... Couldn’t care less about the scoop (or lack thereof.)

I actually like most things Subaru and am considering buying a forester or an outback when the wife’s “too big” Q7 lease is up. My biggest struggle will be switching the mommy wagon to something with the same power as my snow blower.

Wow! That’s almost as rare as a Subaru maintaining lane position through a turn!

Nicely done. I snort-laughed at this. A cousin had one growing up. Broom handle was standard equipment from the Mopar catalog.

Does this include fleet sales? Hertz LUVS the Journey!

Ehh, not so much. We got the IQS survey on my wife’s ‘17 Q7. It was 17 pages long. Everything from materials, to the infotainment was surveyed. I did it and sent it in since my wife couldn’t care less.

My father-in-law did the same. Their mailbox is on the outside toward the end of a downhill corner. In winter, people would come sliding around the hill and take out the mailbox and occasionally the neighbor’s garage.

It’s almost as poorly named as the avenger. What about that vehicle says Rogue to you? It brings to mind another r-word. Rental.

Agreed! And well-chosen.

The London Underground is a fantastic system. Years of traveling there monthly and experience with others all around the globe make me long for it. Well signed, organized, reliable, timely, and comprehensive.

I had an ‘08 V-10 Touareg that I still love to this day. (Followed by an ‘09 V-6-TDI, and a ‘13 V6-TDI (totaled)) However once the ‘08 reached 100k and the warranty expired I chucked it. They are simply amazing vehicles to drive. Effortless power, nice, comfortable. However looking at this one with its abused interior

The exterior is ok but get into the thing and be reminded that it is still a Chrysler product from nearly the worst era of Chrysler products. Cheap and shitty plastic abounds.

Nope, no greater offenders than your average Subaru. Underpowered and CVT-laden clogs up the freeway.

I often drive like I’m in the UK and just pass on the right. I’ve gone miles upon miles in the right lane because everyone just stays left in the US. Chicagoland is by far the worst I’ve seen.

Color me shocked. Most Subaru drivers are decidedly parked in the left lane trundling along the freeways slowly. It would appear we have an anomaly here with one in the right-hand lane. Who knew?

I have driven one and found it amazing in a straight-line but lacking in corners. Looking at the numbers, it pulls a 0.85g on the skidpad which is equivalent to a ‘93 firebird. My wife’s ‘17 Audi Q7 pulls a .90g on the skidpad.

I hated the Highlander because of its lack of power, driving dynamics, and nearly every time you closed the doors, it sounds like you’re slamming a board on a tin can. Awful.

I just bought a ‘17 Audi Q7 3.0T Premium Plus to replace my wife’s ‘15 Highlander that we hated. Called all 9 Audi dealers on the front range before doing a deal with Audi Boulder. $3500 off list plus much better trade-in offers. I had several dealers tell me they wouldn’t go more than $1500-2K off sticker because

I’ve had lots of middling dealership experiences but always try to make it easy. Last week we bought a 2017 Audi Q7 Prem Plus to replace the hated 2015 highlander I bought for my wife after her Touareg was totaled. Called 9 dealerships to get the deal I wanted. The first one who accepted got the deal. I did all the

While weirdly cool, it’s definitely not worth the $10K they want for it. My mother had an ‘84 GL growing up (bought new in Austin, TX) that lasted until the mid-90s. Got to the point where you could only cold start it by having someone hold the choke plate closed.
