I love how molesting a bunch of little girls (mainly his sisters, one of whom was only 5) is not as bad as the cheating. Raise your hand if you’d much, much, rather you found out your spouse cheated on you than sexually abused a number of kids? I might be hurt about cheating, but I could see working past it. I would

EXCELLENT!!! They were so fucking electric. I saw them in a small venue and it was awesome. They played most of their songs and the encore was incredible. If you have the chance to see them, I fully recommend them. I haven’t had that much fun at a show in forever.

The Decemberists were on the Simpsons, did a guitar-off on the Colbert Report, get talked about endlessly at the AV club...they’re not exactly obscure.

I’m actually in the early stages of wedding planning. The wedding-industrial complex is REAL. And it may kill me.

Hey thanks! Appreciate that. And yes, it truly is amazing what can happen when you treat yourself well. Don’t get me wrong - there’s still times I could punch a kitten in the face* with frustration and I basically went from working 55 hours a week to 70, but it’s still an awesome experience.

*wouldn’t actually do this

Just your typical tale of corporate rat burn out turned small business owner with a retail shop, online and wholesale business that ships worldwide :) I’m living my dream and absolutely love what I do. (And I’m not medicated for blood pressure anymore, yay!)

several years ago when i had first moved to Big City, my roomie and I were deeply poor. It was Christmastime and we had no money to go home to Small Town, so we did our best with our meager funds to make our shithole apartment seem festive. We split the cost of a pine-scented Yankee Candle so at least our place would

Shout out to all my fellow Jezzies who read “inexpensive Yankee candles” and thought about how you only get Yankee candles when they're on the clearance endcap at TJ Maxx.

There is something about Donald Trump that just makes Jeb! nervous

None of them should be on TV anymore.

And Jane is the actual biological mother of resulting insemination, which makes things a lot less murky IMO. Though FTR, the father in JTV only intended the sperm for his wife. He wasn’t a random sperm donor.

In the show, it was a guy who had frozen his sperm due to cancer treatments potentially rendering him infertile, and it was supposed to be used on his wife but was used on the wrong woman. It was also his only viable sample, IIRC. So there are *some* similarities, I guess, but it’s a bit of a stretch.

im clashing my conservative family with my boyfriend’s progressive family this christmas. I hope we just play pictionary and compliment my cooking all night...

I hung out with my parents around peak Carson “pyramids were grain storage and I’d rush the shooter” idiocy and I went on a rant about how fucking ridiculous he is, and my dad nodded and said that’s why he likes Trump. Just fucking kill me now.

I am so thankful for my all-raving-liberals immediate family during these politically tense holiday seasons!

sort of the opposite, but my female friend had a dude in her bridal party, and he just wore a suit with a vest that matched the color of the other bridesmaid’s dresses, rather than black and grey like the groomsmen’s suits.

A friend of mine had his sister as his best woman, and she wore the same tux pants, white shirt, suspenders, and tie as the groomsmen.

That’s not how odds work!

I would imagine that they had matching cloth straps put across the backs when they had the dresses altered to hide the bra strap, much like you can have matching straps or sleeves added to a strapless dress. So there’s likely a bra strap under there, but that strip of cloth is not the bra itself. But frankly, it’s
