When Bernard told Ford that he hadn't been truthful with him, Anthony Hopkins made the most wonderful, gif-able "OH, REALLY?" face.

2. It's safe to say Ginny has major Daddy issues, so the surrogate dad role only makes a hook-up between them more likely!

Ooh, I like your take on Ginny in that scene.

This show is a pleasant surprise. I really like it. It's classy corny like Friday Night Lights. The ratings are bad but this was another good episode so I hope the show survives.

I hope the show is saving Ginny's discovery of Mike/Amelia so that it can happen in the most fun and/or dramatic way possible! Timing is everything.

I watched the first episode of Berlin Station when they made it free to watch online (via Vanity Fair, I think?).

Christ, this looks so weird and creepy. Hard pass.

The leads are really cute and charming and I enjoy their story. And Evie's two friends at the company work well as supporting characters. As did Xavier's fugitive cousin.

Alano Miller is a really good actor so I think the cheesy fakeness was intentional.

Do you think this lady secretly went to the network honcho's home and told him Barbee and Shapiro can't work together and no one knows who's boss? And Shapiro, for whom she has been working the last two seasons, sees it as a knife in the back? ;)

Yeah, nicely done, O'Neal. I particularly liked the last line.

I think your prediction is a winner.

So they can never catch Goran Visnjic's character, Flynn, because then there would be no show. He has to escape in his time machine at the end of every episode, lol. It's like the cartoons I used to watch as a kid. I hope Flynn starts taunting them before making his getaway in future episodes, all "Better luck next

Character insight? Sure. Isn't it strange how we never get a slow tilt up a beautiful young man's body to teach us something about a character?

The pilot was slow, but overall I found it dreamy and cool, inspiring and thoughtful.

Kevin Zegers.

And what's worse, a Canadian!

Damn, you're right; there isn't really any other romantic possibility for Ginny who is part of the main cast. Unless her married friend cheats on his wife with her, which would be awful. If a Ginny/Mike hook-up isn't the plan, the show should introduce an alternative pronto.

I liked that they had "The Mountain" assure Mike that he wouldn't have hit Ginny and that it's a no-win situation for him. That's completely understandable.

Nice review. For now, I think I've had enough of Prez Kiefer, his bland family, the poor man's The West Wing, and Special Agent Maggie Q. It's perfectly watchable, but the writing just isn't good enough to be anything more than that.
