From a douchey, over the top cocktail enthusiast perspective, I would instead infuse the serrano into the Mezcal. I wouldn't ever infuse into a juice. Also, I'd love to get my hands on yuzu but not pay $20 for an 8 oz bottle.

I much prefer it to tequila. So my general rule for using it is just replacing it for tequila in cocktails.
And also, as Pope mentioned, in the Ultima Palabra.

1,500 miles? But I want it now.

Oh shit. He started up a global fried chicken enterprise.

There are two great ones that stick out. One was for a drug themed category, and it was Muppets Take Methamphetamines. The other was Xtreme marketing, and it was Soup To Go, with a picture of a skateboarding kid holding out a chicken bouillon cube.

Oh man that sounds delicious! I'll try that very soon!

Have you come across the two different types of bay leaves? My latest batch, I have no idea where I got them from. They're not hard at all, and don't require any baking. It's just a matter of making it the day before, since the yeast needs to rise. You just need something that can hold a fair amount of oil for deep frying (deep fryer or dutch oven).

Oh good lord. Yeah, even going up closer to Boston it becomes ridiculous.
I thought it was priced high, but in looking around, there are a lot of 3-bedroom homes going for the same price, so those people are really pushing it.
My realtor thought we could probably get over $300k with the market as it is, but the

How good are you at yeasted dough and frying? You could make beignets, to keep with the NOLA theme. Or if you really want to get lazy, make coffee with Chicory. Though I have no idea where to get chicory.

My fiance's grandmother passed away last Friday.
It was expected, and she's had full on dimentia for the past 2 years. She had a stroke 2 weeks ago and was no longer eating or drinking, so it was just a matter of time. She's handling it well, but her mom is a bit more distraught about it, even though she's not

I'm sorry to hear. I wish for the best for her.
