I have since applied that rule to other places in MA, like "doohster".

That's definitely unfortunate. I'm pretty sure not, since juniper berries are the main component for a gin. You could always try making your own, removing or substituting the berries.
I'm going to compare this to a Perfect Martini, which uses 1/2 oz dry and 1/2 oz sweet vermouth.
Old Tom Gins are interesting, though I have a bottle that is very heavy on the cardamom, and as such would be really overpowering for the Astoria. I wish I could see which bottle he's using in the video.
Okay, a logistical question for you. If I have supply lines between my settlements (3 so far), can I do farming at one of them and have food shared between all 3? I just got Tenpines Bluff, and there's farming going on there. Do I need to plant crops at Sanctuary and Red Rocket, or am I good as is.
That one is Christmas themed, but year round.
That's very kind of you to say. As noted by others earlier, Serious Eats (namely, Food Lab) has been my secret storage of information for a lot of what I do. Hope it helps, or that it's stuff you already know and don't need but enjoy reading.

Oh, I don't want to avoid it. It's just something I know nothing about. I searched a video, and it said that if you do the Minutemen missions, that'll basically be a tutorial. I skipped past that, not knowing if I'd be joining a faction or not that early in the game. So at least I know to go back to that to get…
When playing on PS3, i think i was in the level 40 range when I finally found out about alchemy.
I belatedly checked the past few weeks and didn't see anything. I'm briefly posting today so figured I'd get this going, but I'll still probably be off for the rest of the year.
I finally got Fallout 4 during black friday. The problem with this and Skyrim is that I feel like not having played previous iterations, there are features that they don't tell you about, that are just common knowledge. I had to look up how to holster a weapon, anything related to V.A.T.S. (which I'm still not fully…
FOOD THREAD
I read that one three times, each time realizing I kept misreading a different word. I like it too.
Reposted with updates, here's my list of band names I'm saving for later:
Can't wait for 5 straight minutes of driving on a highway. Even longer if we're lucky.
New sort is only when Discus is having issues, and you want to see comments that aren't properly posting. Then when you check another article and forget it's in "newest", you get really confused at the lack of upvotes or replies.
I'm more in the "let's see where this goes" camp.
Good god, that laughing was not hilarious at all.
Not really, as the alcohol content isn't high enough. I mean, it's not going to kill you or poison you, but it can taste god-awful. I had a friend brew an IPA that smelled, honest to god, like baby shit. We did taste it as well, and it tasted nothing like the smell, but whatever bacteria that was in there did not pair…
Too high of a fermentation temperature, or bad yeast.
