It may not be able to hurt me, but haunting my dreams won’t be fun either.

Tom’s reaction to seeing himself as a cake was great:

Most cat violence comes as a betrayal.

Enh, comedy is subjective, I just think learning how mundane the injury was enhances the scene and character tremendously. Dude’s always putting on a show and even his most iconic physical feature is shrouded in bullshit. I love it.

Calling Delroy Lindo a knockoff Sam Jackson is cold, man.

He lost it when an alien he believed he befriended betrayed him in a cowardly surprise battle. How is that not a totally badass way to lose an eye?

It got leaked months ago that it was in the works. They have set photos from Falcon & Winter Soldier showing a SWORD base and the logos. Supposedly Fury, Quake, Monica Rambeau and some other SHIELD characters will be in the cast. They’ve sort of dropped hints in the last Spider-Man and the SHEILD finale.

I’m actually cool with that? I know Marvel is all about action but if they could pull off a legitimately quieter thriller/spy thing, that might be more of a breath of fresh air than anything else.

I mean, you did ask the question!

If I’m staying in the neighborhood or want a quick snack they’re great, no mistake, but I sometimes like to make a platter for myself at home...basically stuff myself on a variety, instead of dinner.

There really aren’t “recipes” for pintxos, this article kinda sucks. You just take whatever you feel would be tasty at the moment and put it on a stick. One of my perennial favorites is just a cube of tortilla de patatas/potato frittata with a dollop of aioli, on a stick. Or Matrimonio, at its simplest just tomato-rubb

Spent several days in Bilbao almost 20 years ago and enjoyed the pintxo bars immensely. I had just read Mark Kurlansky’s “Basque History of the World” and was super excited to track down some Txakoli. Found a decent bottle to bring home and opened it with some friends. I kept thinking it tasted very familiar until I

Avoid the wine and go for the basque ciders.  Wonderful.  Also poured from a height.
