I thought about reporting him a few years later. I didn’t remember his name, so I asked my parents for any info they had. They didn’t give me anything. They still believe he could’ve helped me.

Yep Filipino Todos los Santos / Undas “celebrations” used to get pretty raucous, as formerly families were allowed to camp out overnight, crank out the portable videoke machine, and drink beers. In my hometown, lots of small fights broke up between drunks, so they ended up banning public drinking around that time, and…
Wow, I seriously have chills now.
Baby, that wasn’t the ghost of no Native American woman...that was something *else*.
This happened to me recently and honestly it was the most terrifying thing that has actually happened directly to me. I am pretty sure the ghost of a Native American woman tried to kill me.
The fact that she was so large is TERRIFYING.
As an anxious child, I’d wake up several times overnight to use the bathroom. This happened so often and for so long that my parents forbid me from turning on the lights because it would wake them up.
I don’t even have words for the outrage I feel at this. I so glad you were strong enough to see through his manipulation, but my God, the women who weren’t ... 😞. This is ... disgusting, despicable, and horrifying. Like someone else said, these posts are always scarier than the paranormal ones. Fuck this arsehole.
Oooh this one is so good! Sorry for your mothers loss. The stories of kids being in touch with family members they never knew about always bewilder me.
He could turn that into a side hustle! Scary stories ride share.
1) Fuuuuuuuck. I’m so sorry this happened to you, and I hope you’ve been able to build a life filled with people who love you and treat you well.
Proof that the scariest things aren’t ghosts.
This might not be as scary as others, but it freaked me out and I’ve waited a whole year to share. Last year, there was a story in the Top 10 about a Black Dog at Army Camp. The poster talked about going to the river to watch a meteor shower. I know where that is. I’ve been there, taken my kids to swim in the river…
A few years ago, my wife and I went to spend time trick or treating with our goddaughter and her siblings in Jersey City. Rather than fight the subway system and subsequent debauchery during the Village Halloween Parade, we decided to take a Lyft home to our south Brooklyn apartment - about 45 minutes in a car. We got…
Trigger warning - Therapy
Not sure how scary this is, but here goes - a psychic cat lady story:
I love this story! What a sweetheart of a ghost, and so nice that you and your son connected with Lily, even when you didn’t realize it.
After my divorce, I spent 4+ years looking for a home to buy for my son and I. I had a very hectic government job and my son had a rare genetic disorder that caused a myriad of health issues. I had hired a private caregiver for him who spent 12+ hours caring for him each weekday. Life was very busy.
This is my first time posting because until recently I’ve never had anything that spooky happen, but this event floats back to my brain every so often and I still have no idea what the fuck this was about.
Years ago, in late fall, we moved our young family from a house in the city to my grandmother’s old home, which was rural and secluded. My grandparents had passed on, and so had my mother, but she grew up in that house. It’s a two-story farmhouse with hidden rooms, and it’s more than 150 years old. When we moved…
