It could be a geriatric remake of Ecks vs. Sever and I’d still watch it.

That’s definitely what he means, though by adding the “S” he wound up referencing the Warren Beatty historical drama instead.

That doesn't shock me.  And after the 60s she stopped aging.  From the 1970s to now she more or less looks the same.

My dad will continue to watch anything with a childhood/young adulthood crush in it. It could be creepy, but since it’s staying age appropriate — he’s just as happy with a 60-year-old Michelle Pfieffer or a 70-year-old Adrienne Barbeau as with something from their primes — it keeps things on a mildly endearing level.

Dude Diagnosis Murder was my jam growing up, BBC2 would show it at like 2pm so I would watch it whenever I didn't have school.

No mention of at least a couple more notable guest stars in “Murder Takes the Bus”? David Wayne was wonderfully appealing as the cranky Detective Richard Queen, the father of the title character in Levison/Link’s earlier mystery series, The Adventures of Ellery Queen. And this episode also gives us Larry Linville as Pr

Maybe she wanted to take time to just be a mom for a while — if so, more power to her!

Lansbury, when she started out and for a couple of decades after, always looked a lot older than she was, and then at some point in the 1970s she grew into her age so her years lived/appearance aligned. After that she started doing a Dorian Gray, and began looking a lot younger than she was.

If James Olsen shows up on the Waverider I swear to god...

Legends and Black Lightning both only do 13 ep seasons, though, I think. Also, Legends is awesome and currently the best show. Supergirl has been... fine. Consistently fine, but just fine.

But they just got her to Prime Earth!

This seems like it can’t just be a ratings thing considering it just got a spin-off (granted, that “spin-off” is for their version of Superman, so it’s kind of a snake eating its own tail situation). Still, its ratings are above Legends of Tomorrow’s and significantly above Black Lightning’s, both of which are also

Well, if any of them want to reprise their characters, I’m sure Legends of Tomorrow would be happy to accommodate them.  On that note, hey CW!  Don’t you dare fucking touch LoT!

Back in my younger days there were series well known for being tailored for the ‘retirement-age’ demographic. Murder She Wrote was one of those series. Now that I’ve reached retirement age, myself, I can’t say that I’m any more drawn to that genre than I ever was.

Remember, the biggest guest star (at the time it was made) is always the murderer.

I’ve been unironically watching this off and on for about two weeks now. It’s the perfect background noise for when I’m working. It’s just utterly delightful, especially the theme music. I’m only like one episode away from this one.

I have to confess this show has been my casual pandemic escape show. I’ll usually catch a few episodes Saturday morning on Cozi but if Peacock is still free with commercials I might try watching them in order.

Frosting, She Ate

Let me top that one: Lucille Ball.

I mean...it could have been worse.
