The idea of Mel as an assassin already has me chuckling, so I’ll check this out.

Yeah, “the fiddler” is almost a parody of a superhero and she could have been in the movie “Mystery Men” with Ben Stiller.  Violin playing..but eeeevil! haha.  That being said, it was a surprise when they murdered her.  Man, this show has the highest body count of any CW show I can think of outside of the 100 and

All this AND brit accents? I'm in!

Aiden Gallagher’s going to win an Oscar or equivalent one of these days. The kid’s a really good actor. You can just see the years in his mannerisms.

When Diego stuttered I cried. So much pain in such a small action.

On the other hand, it’s bizarre that we’ve gotten zero references to Allison’s daughter this season. Did she tell Ray about her?

I asked the same thing in last ep’s comments. Ostensibly he has only that one outfit, and he’s physically a teenage boy. The outfit must be getting pretty gamey.  Even the comic had him change into different stuff.  At one point wearing like a SHIELD style jumpsuit.  I think the show just finds him funny when being a

I think this is my favorite of the season, thanks to the Swedes’ burning pyre funeral and the whole family reunion. But the rest of the season from this episode onward is just as good.

Great episode overall, but let me just quickly mention what I think this show does better than most: Villains.

Man, yeah, right after I commented I was thinking of him. There’s just nothing about his performance that comes off as “teenager playing an old man.” He is fully a 60-year-old man. I love how he has fantastic charisma with every actor in the cast, too.

Robert Sheehan continues to be, IMO, the strongest member of the cast

It fits perfectly with Klaus’ attention seeking personality.  The other sibs know he can give Ben form after last season - if they know Ben is there, they will want to talk to him, diverting attention from Klaus.

“I’ve got a blender and some *much* better booze. If we’re going to start day-drinking we should do it right”

Allison is a woman after my own heart.

Klaus and Ben have been blatantly mean, and annoyingly so. Maybe that can be attributed to three long years of Klaus going overboard with Cult Life. Regardless, the animosity has been exasperating.

Yeah, I kept wanting to slap Diego (and all the Hargreaves for not pointing it out) every time he brought up saving Kennedy. It’s the most logical assumption.

The complications of what Vanya wants, and Sissy’s reality, given the time period, is being handled really well. I also think this back-in-time plot has been a good way to keep Sir Reginald a key part of the story, while still being as enigmatic as ever. For some reason, that guy- responsible for all of this- just

This is probably my favorite episode of the season (I’m up to 9 now), along with next episode. Unusual for a Netflix series to be at its best in the middle of the season, but this show really excels when all the siblings are together.

That Pogo opening is probably the best part of the entire season. Mixed with the dance number this is definitely one of the best episodes.

Justin H. Min consistently does more with his time on screen than most of the core/living siblings.
