Tesla was the lone influence for the auto industry’s pivot toward BEVs. VW would have gone in this direction just like anyone else, but there is a slight chance that “Dieselgate” may have only accelerated the plan. Make no mistake that no other manufacturer would even be considering high-volume electric cars if Tesla

I’ll be heading out in a short time myself to avoid another bleak Michigan January.

Electrical load budgets are no joke. Nearly every electrical input rely on a specified range of resistance supplied by a specific voltage usually with in the 5 Volt range. Anything that pulls from the voltage of a given circuit and changes the output voltage from the inputs can send the wrong signal to the intended

Dealerships have gotten so cheap with oil changes to try and be competitive with these quickie places. I only have the dealer do my oil change and also rotate my tires if I need to have it done at the time of the oil change. It may cost me about $5 to $10 more than anywhere else, but it’s worth it, usually takes less

Up until this week, I was responsible for writing the maintenance schedules for these cars. You think writing the articles and trying to clarify which e-tron is which is tough? Try clearly explaining which maintenance items are which for each specific e-tron model. It was pretty damn annoying. Especially when I had to

Some media outlets, including this one, are perpetuating some misinterpreted quotes. The cars will not be discontinued, but rather the current model lines will be discontinued. A new Charger and Challenger are on the way and will be available as PHEVs. The Hellcat engines are gone, but “a version of the Hemi” will

Two years into ownership of my 2020 Scat Pack Challenger and my Carvana Cash offer is only 4000 less than what I paid for the car. Oddly enough, selling it on my own would probably fetch me at least what I paid for it. Regardless, the old “it depreciates the second you drive it off the lot” has never applied to this

My son ran the Goliath exploit twice on his account and once on mine. I had already accrued a few million on my own, but this threw me up to an instant $16 million after all of my wheel spins were deployed. Not to mention the ridiculous amount of vehicles added to the garage.

Why does this car seem to appeal to people with very poor taste? It’s like a while new generation of PT Cruiser “enthusiasts” are picking these things up and making them look far worse than they already do.

$4500 on its best day

Looks like they were rescued roughly two hours ago, based on the IG. I assume the truck is still there though.

I’m not sure I agree with the Jeep ducking origins. A friend of mine had his Jeep “ducked” here in Michigan prior to the pandemic. Regardless, I’m sorry to hear about your friend and colleague being attacked. It happens from time-to-time since about 1812.

I’ve learned that some people will just never be fucking happy and will always armchair something better than what the professionals can put together for them.

I don’t care what anyone else thinks. The Dodge brand is having more fun than any other car brand available today. I’m a sucker for good marketing gimmicks in general and this one is pure brilliant stupid fun.

a) Has the FBI spoken with Tom Mabe about this?

I was working for Pontiac, in Pontiac, on the F-body program when the redesign came out. I went from planning to lease a WS6 to not wanting one at all. That redesign was hideous and was a harbinger of GM’s “design by committee” process that led to the Aztek being the best/worst example of this.

When I was little, I used to refer to playing with my Matchbox and Hotwheels as simply just “playing cars”. That’s what FH is to me. It’s playing cars. Like the same kind of fun that I had as a kid. I can do pretty much what I want in there on my own time and in my own way. As you note, the price of entry is cheap.

Obviously a bit of overkill for a production vehicle, but I don’t understand why we don’t have a Blazer that takes this direction instead of a that odd little crossover. Sure the little Blazer sells very well, but it would have sold just as well with the Chevette, Vega, or some random alpha-numerical name attached to
