I don’t need to. It’s just not worth that much.
I don’t need to. It’s just not worth that much.
Oh come on now! That price is absofuckinglutely ridiculous!
I’ll bet you didn’t see a small sticker of Joe Biden’s image with the test bubble stating “I did this”. Apparently ‘Muricans tend to think the word revolves around them and that we are the only ones to experience high fuel prices and supply chain shortages. I kind of wish that stories like yours were more out there…
Pretty sure my Dodges over the past decade also have this feature. I can crack my window just a but at a time or I can do one hit to take al the way down.
Don’t forget that this is, first and foremost, a SEMA vehicle. SO of course the execution will be... well... a little over the top. I agree and if it were mine I would have kept it all a bit more retro.
I had a feeling that this year at SEMA would be the year of the crate “motor” and I’m not disappointed. So far we have this and Hot Rod’s Project X. I hope we see more.
Driving from Detroit to Laguna Beach with my wife and teen son right after Christmas. I’m giving myself all week to drive there so I can check in to my condo by the Jan 1st.
The logical answer is “somewhere around 350" and depends on the size, weight and purpose of the car. So Anywhere between 300 to 400, I think, is optimal for just about any car. Unless, of course, you only ever drive around a dense city with slow-moving traffic then 90 HP is just fine.
Well... I guess that’s one C&C I’m not going to waste my time with (also since the drive is a bit further). I’ll be going on Saturday mornings to the Orange County C&C. It’s huge, well organized, and only like 15 minutes from my condo.
It’s always that plaza that has issues with the Woodward weekend meetups. At some point I just said “fuck pot belly” and now take my business (and my car) elsewhere. The cops never fucked with me there because I look like some middle age asshole, but they really seem be aggressive with anyone that looks like they’re…
The feeling and emotion of driving a really great car on a really great road. Experiencing the back roads. The Journey being part of the destination.
You can see part of the door jamb and the car is clearly grey. Also, the greater picture of the orange car has a black interior.
Congrats and welcome aboard!
You conservatives love to jerk off to some weird shit.
You have to understand the geography of the are to understand why it costs so much there. Conservatives love to jerk off to this story about high gas prices there, but the one thing the story teller does not tell you are the only two ways into the station. Taking either HWY1 south or HWY1 north are the only ways and…
Never, but I’ve had people almost get into serious accidents, even with me, just trying to tell me how cool my car is. One was even a city bus driver.
My brother and his husband had one. My brother lost it in the split :(
I love this very short story. It should expand to a history story here on Jalopnik along with old and current photos.
You’ve listed every reason I have and am keeping mine too. My son is only 13, but he’ll be off to college at some point. My daughter is out of the house and getting married next year. I finally have the car I lusted after as a kid, which for me was a 71 Hemi Cuda. My Challenger is pretty much that car, but better.
