I love the car you posted, but man... no matter the condition, I’d love to see your actual car.

My wife will probably never sell her 5-speed Sport either. It’s going to be tough to convince her she needs an electric car to replace it so I can turn her 500 into a track day car.
My adult life of yearning for one since the show car first appeared while I was a high school senior has only slightly subsided since got my Scat Pack, but I still think that maybe one day I’ll have one. It’s just not as important to me as it once was.
I can empathize. I don’t have enough money to sympathize. LOL
Market adjustments from MSRP and dealer markups are not the same thing. It’s apples and oranges, man.
This wouldn’t happen if factory-owned dealerships were allowed.
Full-disclosure: Mopar person chiming in here.
This thing is about $10K-$15K too far into the stratosphere.
Welcome aboard, Ryan!
I personally know of six of these (combination of 392 and hellcat vehicles) stolen from friends in my area. One had his Trackhawk stolen right from his driveway in an are that’s usually considered a pretty quiet neighborhood.
Actually working to get the wring diagrams now so I can put a kill switch on the ignition ground circuit. I hate to do it since the car is still under warranty, but I don’t think I have a choice.
I’ve been inquiring about the security software flash for my 392. So far, Stellantis has only released it to dealers for 2022 and 2021 MY Hellcats and 392 cars. Mine is a 2020 and I’m getting a bit anxious. The car is always securely parked in my garage at home when I’m not driving. I even take my wife’s Fiat 5-speed…
Admittedly, I don’t know shit about the ins and outs of the Mazda rotary engines so I would have to take your suggestion to heart. I was just throwing out the idea of a newer powertrain of some kind.
All cars were slow and mediocre from this era. If speed and handling are what you desire then anything from the malaise era is a really bad idea.
If it cranks over and doesn’t sound bad doing it then I would say $5K isn’t really a horrible price for this car. I have no interest in owning one myself, but I can’t say that I’ve seen a clean an unmolested example anywhere else at any price.
The Fox here in the US was an evolution of the old Audi 80 from the 1970s (sold in the US as the Audi Fox), which was re-hashed into the VW Fox. It was a direct competitor of the small competition of ultra-cheap new cars hitting the market here at the time from Yugo and a couple other brands. While none of them…
The minivan made me LOL.
