I thought their electric car project was on hold

Or what makes it different than a normal semi truck carrying 150 gallons of diesel fuel? Which for the record is also a hazardous material that releases toxic fumes when burned, and doesn’t even need to be mixed with water first for it to leach into the groundwater.

Is spilled diesel not a hazmat?

Tony Stewart complaining about dirty racing is like Mike Tyson complaining about boxers trying to knock opponents out.

Also, the Mustang Mach E, should have just been the Mach E. Less clunky to say, nods at Mustang history without pretending to be a mustang.

You can bet all spotters will be lectured on “plausible deniability” from now on.

Any spotter actually yelling “wreck him” should never be allowed on the premises of a NASCAR track again.   A team that has a spotter that does this should be severely penalized because it points to a culture that isn’t part of true racing.

I think he’d have gotten away with the Logano move, but Hamlin pointed out that NASCAR warned drivers about deliberately trying to send cars straight on head first into the wall by clipping their rear bumper to the left. That’s just too dangerous.

Kinda on brand for a guy with that last name.

If public safety were the #1 priority, we would design roads in a manner that encourages slower driving and automate speed enforcement with cameras. If we really, really wanted people to stop dying on US roadways, we’d invest in public transit, separate pedestrians and bikes from cars, tax vehicles with hoods greater

I assume that drones will soon enter the discussion . . .

Apocalypse-ready, baby!

You get what you pay for. Coincidentally, Jalopnik, like most of the internet, is free.

“So, after I went back to the hospital to get the stitches out of my leg from where I gashed it on the Cybertruck’s door, I stopped to pick up some groceries. Came home to find my tailgate is bent now.

I can sort of understand people who buy a CyberTruck because they like it’s looks or Tesla’s tech.

Traffic Aware Cruise? Chill Mode? Car Wash Mode? Love to put my car in a different “mode” every time I do anything.

Shitty headline is shitty, and you know it.

I don’t even understand the appeal of this thing for NON-truck stuff. The flat panels make it look primitive to me rather than futuristic. Like it was built by a civilization that hadn’t yet figured out how to bend steel into more complex shapes.

Trying to use a CT to do actual truck things...

We’ve hauled 2500 lbs of cement blocks/gravel in my friend’s Chevy colorado ZR2 (overweight by about 700 lbs of load capacity before adding 4 people in the cab) and this shit didn’t happen lol.
