TEST DRIVES DIVES WELCOME

The fuselage doesn’t even look damaged. For as much as a commercial airliner costs (even a small regional one), I’m sure this isn’t even close to a writeoff.

EVs in Gran Turismo also have brakes made out of cheese. None of them - even the racecars and concepts that magically weigh less than 2 tons despite having giant batteries - have functioning brakes. The other cars in the game can coast to a stop better than the EVs can stop when stomping on the brakes.

It looked like the plane was actually lifting off a bit before the thrust reversers opened, so either the plane had already touched down and bounced, or it was beginning to lift again due to the air trapped between the wings and the ground and the reversers were opened to slow the plane down enough to reduce the

Is it still even working? This is the billionth time he’s announced a release date for the robotaxi and missed it. I know Wall Street is run exclusively by morons, but surely they’re not falling for this for the billionth time right?

Would’ve been funny if he was planning to gift it to Putin first.

I’d like to add the people who can’t park worth a damn either. I’ve never seen a place where so many people don’t even attempt to park between the lines. The parking lot at the hotel I was staying at, pull-in street parking, strip mall parking, it didn’t matter - at least 1 out of every 3 to 5 cars was occupying more

That’s probably because Elon had more personal input with the Cybertruck than  any of Tesla’s other products.

They had to delete the frunk to make room for the extra cooling, so I doubt there’s enough room to stick the E-Ray motor in there. Still, we could get it paired with the Z06 engine for roughly 800 hp and AWD for unbelievable acceleration.

It’ll have a range of 18,000 miles on a single charge.

It’s like “Thomas Comes to Breakfast” in real life!

I got my first up-close look at one a couple weeks ago, and honestly I feel the same way.

The problem with the Leaf batteries is that they had the same battery management technology as your phone (in other words, almost none). Others have liquid cooled batteries and software to manage them so they should last longer (like Tesla’s).

Either way, Jaguar has none of them.

Good luck getting any of the owners to take legal action...

...because they had a 10-year head start. Plus all the “good” programmers (to the extent that there are any) are of course going to flock to Silicon Valley over somewhere with comparatively garbage weather.

“Software” and “quality control” have been mortal enemies since the former was invented, and the late-stage capitalist push to remove quality control from EVERYTHING in order to squeeze out a few more pennies of profit hasn’t helped matters.

How ironic this issue is coming from the company that wants to sell you a car without a rear window...

The grille is too big for my tastes (but at least I assume it’s all functional), but I like the rest of it even if the side profile is derivative.

Why would the hitman be upset? He’s gonna get paid a lot more now.
