Yeah, it seems like the only “human error” (or at least the biggest human error) is on whoever wrote the code for this thing. In addition to not disengaging when the driver tries to counter its actions, why was the precious command not wiped AUTOMATICALLY when the system was rebooted?

You don’t get more range by reducing available hp on EVs. Electric motors don’t work like engines. You can get marginally more range in 2WD than AWD due to less friction from fewer moving parts, so in that way reducing total hp does improve range by simply removing extra motors. Simply decreasing power in the motors…
