I didn’t read anything about Smith being forbidden from being nominated or receiving and Oscar, just him not being able to attend the actual ceremony (Polanski didn’t attend the ‘02 ceremony in person either, since he’d have been arrested once he set foot in the US). As far as I know he wasn’t “expelled”.

And then there’s some people who are just impatient a-holes. It’ll happen every once in a while when I’m passing in the left lane, and someone going 20 mph quicker than me flies up behind me. That track looks like someone Supersized the Horse Thief Mile circuit at Willow Springs.

I saw video of a steam tractor pulling one of those tractor pull competition sleds, and it just kept going, and going, and going. Nowhere near as fast as a competition tractor/truck, but it didn’t get bogged down even slightly when the sled dug in. Eventually it did get overcome by the resistance and ended up popping…

And unlike the Hummer, this thing probably ACTUALLY make 11,000+ lb-ft of torque...
