Where did you get that figure? The graph only has 3500 Nm as the max torque, which is way less than 8000 lb-ft.

No stupid name (“Crozz”), and a grille-less front end that was designed by people who actually seem to care about looks? Are you sure this is an EV? What’s the catch? It has touchscreeens for every control surface, including steering wheel and pedals, doesn’t it?

Same reason all other EV makers put “grilles” on them: laziness. It’s also why their interior design consists of supergluing an iPad on a blank console.

The Bolt would also do better if GM actually marketed it, but they don’t really advertise it because a sub-40k EV with a battery that big won’t turn a profit right now (hence why Tesla all but completely hides the existence of their cheapest Model 3).

No not quite. From what I remember, slavery was bad, but it wasn’t THAT bad; also, the KKK were just disgruntled Southerners who were upset at government overreach from Northern Republicans after the war ended, and they had a little racism problem too.

As a graduate of a Christian school (4th-12th grade), I second this. And mine wasn’t even that bad compared to what I’ve heard from a lot of these places (probably because when I was in high school they started moving to “secular” mainstream textbooks).

Chevy didn’t market them because they’re losing money on every Bolt sold. Even at $40k for a compact hatchback, they can’t turn a profit on them. No one is gonna advertise a car that’s gonna lose them a ton of money if it catches on.

It doesn’t have LUDICROUS MODE and ridiculous acceleration*. It’s a basic, no-nonsense EV that gets you from place to place with enough range to make most trips anxiety-free, even in the winter. Basically, it’s the kind of EV I’d get if I were in the market for one.
