Halep is probably the favorite, but she got a slight ankle injury in the Rome final so we’ll see if she even plays the French. Svitolina (who beat Halep in Rome) seems to be a good bet as well. There’s always hope that Muguruza can defend her title, but she seems ambivalent towards playing tennis at the moment.

Laugh, but that crossword puzzle blogger saves my ass Friday-Sunday.

I finished a Saturday NYT puzzle in twelve minutes once and I felt like could just take the rest of the weekend off. Why load the dishwasher when I could bask in the glow of a twelve-minute Saturday crossword puzzle?

When I did my first Friday, I felt like such a boss. And, if you’re not 60+, some of those pop-culture references are really tough.

i’m going on a 97 day streak (as calculated by the crossword app) and it’s seriously my proudest accomplishment to date.

At my work we have a group that dos the NYT at lunch. It’s pretty fun and you learn a lot of crossword tricks that other people have.
