True. When they make things like these, sometimes it's lacking in power because of the way they're built. But yeah; useful for when you don't have space for a ton of tools, or don't want to carry so much deadweight.

Yeah. It actually looks useful. We shouldn't have to be constrained by a buncha similar tools. Same reason I love my dSLR; I don't have to carry around 15 cameras, just one camera and a buncha lenses for a whole trip. No need to buy another expensive camera.

So it's like a dSLR, but for power tools. Cool, that actually sounds useful.

I'd rephrase that description, even my stepfather, whom was a sniper in the military, is unable to get any panorama shots using his phone, camera, or anything of the sort.

Ease of access though, everyone carries their cellphone with them; not everyone constantly has their camera. Now anyone can have their camera if they have their cellphone.

This is more of the out-of-the-blue shots, techies, common people, and lazy people category. I don't think it falls under something you'd buy to add to your portfolio. In the age of information, it's always good for someone to have a not-half-cruddy camera on them at all times to capture events we don't expect to see.…

As an on and off photographer(I make money, but it's not my career.), I can't decide how to look at this.

I think the idea is to be used like a cellphone; always on, long battery when idle, but then you press a button to take it outta sleep mode.

+1 I know about 50 different ways which are much easier than basically a whole new key.
