Did I suggest crunch? Did I suggest grinding down developers to the bone to get a game out a year sooner? No I did not, I am complaining about long development cycles without offering any solutions or much insight into game development. I know games have probably millions of lines of code that have to work together…
That is the wrong take. He didn’t say anything close to “the devs should just suck it up and endure crunch”. He said
Still you guys never made articles calling out Cyberpunk 2077 taking over 8 years since announcement lol
There already is liquid cooled LED headlights. Cooling a LED turn signal so it pulses (maybe 2 LEDS close together that causes the fluid to expand and move between them as they heat up and cool and causing the pulse) might not be too far fatched. https://www.clearwaterlights.com/products/dixi-bmw-r1250gsa-water-cooled…
Yeah. A lot of people have also seemingly forgotten what its like to have a president who acts like a normal person versus a batshit lunatic. They have forgotten how refreshing it was when Biden came in and did boring things- which felt so great after four years of nonsense before.
Yeah I call BS on that, the laws protect you from this type of behaviour and Valve would open themselves up for all kinds of legal trouble if they charged more than what was intended. So either you’re lying or you’re leaving some details out.
In my headcanon, I am imagining Gabe Newell personally seeing that post, and adding that point himself, without anyone else at Valve involed.
Well, that and how pretty much all of the competition, except Itch and maybe GOG (both of which are less “competitor” and more “different market segment”), is even worse.
To be fair, whatever it was that the pages in old manuals was coated with, smelled real good.
I believe it was Maurice Sendak of “Where the Wild Things Are” who said something like “When I first got a book, I would hold it in my hands, smell it, flip the pages to hear the sound, taste the pages, and the very last thing I would do is read it.”
“If you live in a municipality that allows driverless car testing, you may already be accustomed to taking your life in your hands every time you have to Frogger your way through a crosswalk.”
Everything.
There’s a bronze plaque on Liberty Island I would very much like Eric Adams to become intimately acquainted with...
What I find interesting is that GM killed off the Chevy Volt presumably because they were going whole hog in to EV and they deemed the PHEV bridge technology as no longer needed since EVs now had sufficient range and charging speeds at reasonable price points (e.g-the Bolt). So NOW all of a sudden it looks like every…
Since when do EVs have insane maintenance costs? I just got the 20k service done on my Polestar and you know what they did? Replace the wiper blades and filled the washer fluid. It cost $0.
When did Jalop get such a weird, albeit slight, anti EV stance?
I get that most areas of the country are literally unlivable without a car, so even if you’re poor you need a car to just survive, which leads to people driving without insurance, and I can somewhat empathize with their plight; but if you HAVE to drive without insurance, why aren’t you being the most careful person on…
If you really believe that, you really have no idea how wrong you are.
