I’m sad it’s over, but I’m so, so glad that she got to end it when she wanted to, how she wanted to. It’s a damn near perfect run, which is a hell of an achievement and she had the wisdom, grace, and humility to go out high.

I sobbed during the last episode and then I sobbed a few hours later because there’s no more to watch.

I loved it so much. It ended so well but I’m still sad we won’t get another season.

I’m actively jealous when I get to tell someone to watch it who hasn’t seen it yet. They get to watch it for the first (second and third) time! The second season is just absolute perfection. And brilliance and and perfection is all because we are so emotionally invested in the pay off because of how perfectly crafted…

I know this isn’t the point of this article or the roundtable, but I am in LOVE, in LOVE, in LOVE with Fleabag. I finished season 2 and it breaks my heart that it’s done, it’s over, there are no more biting, smart, awkward, hilarious episodes for us. Every minute of it is genius. 

Aren’t mistakes like that the whole point of having an editor?

I don’t get all these celebrities/celebrity children saying Michael Jackson never did anything to them. A predator chooses people he can prey on; it’s not outrageous to think that he’d choose kids who weren’t as protected/famous. 

I think Pam just kept trying to intentionally cock-block Fleabag and the Priest.

Emily just wants to distract people from the fact that she and her gross husband are a couple of deadbeats. They are using a law designed for people who don’t have nearly the income they do to avoid paying rent.

Between the terrible sex strike idea and the highly judgemental “even in cases of incest or rape” nonsense and Emily’s nudes, I don’t think we’re getting the traction we want on this issue right now.

I once dated a smug dude who prided himself on being friends with every single one of his exes. He claimed that if you can’t be good friends, then you’re mean and immature. I tried to argue that forcing yourself to be friends with an ex just to prove your mature is a very immature thing to do, but I got nowhere.
