I think the tauntauns are probably the most impressive and underrated special effect in the whole original trilogy.

@syafiqjabar of Mars: Well, I've seen the alternative ending and I wasn't that impressed. Sure, it was better than the original.. but mainly because the movie hinted (pretty unsubtly) about some of the stuff and original ending just totally ignored these hints. At least the alternative ending acknowledged the thing

I am Legend is such a great book with great potential. I think they should emphasize the frustration of being one of the few (maybe even the last) person on earth. To this note Oryx and Crake would be an even better film. But they should definitely make Neville more bitter and washed up. Alcoholic would be a nice

@LordChristo: That's one of my favourites, yeah

I call Spot, you can always dream, huh?

Now playing

Kneel before Zod, now make pushups for Zod!

@Nivenus: Yes, right you are, sir.

I just love Robot Chicken

Natalie looks like Keira in that 3rd picture.

@Cory Gross: I know this sounds pretty bad, but your relationship to God is surely unidirectional. There is no way to convincingly show that it isn't anything but your psyche having discussions with itself. IMHO that's the most logical thing to assume. I know it's a nice idea to think there is a higher power

@jzroll: Well, I'm no expert in wingsuit flying but it doesn't take that long for a parachute to open enough (at least to offer a chance of survival). I'm pretty sure they have rehearsed the routes so that the critical parts are very limited and if something goes wrong they have at least one backup plan.

@Cory Gross: I'm not quite sure what you mean with "relational". You mean that you can't as easily anthropomorphise maths as you can religion? Or how you usually don't relate to physics on an emotional level?

It's like with malware. The first thing malicious software usually does once it gets root access is patch the system, or just about anything that makes it more secure against other attacks.

@Nivenus: Am I understanding correctly that you would want to see a few characters in each class of the show without any extra traits just because in real life most people are boring and non-controversial?

@Cory Gross: I wasn't questioning anyone's faith, my friend. I was showing that Caprica wasn't actually discussing faith. It was talking about what makes people want to put their trust on faith alone (see how they are not the same thing).

@Shai: Oh man, I don't think I have anything else to add..
