At this point, people have had sufficient chances to get vaccinated. Obviously people should stay home when they are sick with an infectious disease, but sometimes it can’t be avoided. The crew is probably so big that it’s impossible to avoid someone having some infectious disease at some point. It’s just part of our

Well, I don’t know about that. I’m probably not going to see the movie since I’m pretty sure I wont like it (based on previous disappointments). But what I would know based on your preferences is that whatever your opinion about the movie would be, I probably couldn’t relate to it. I mean, I think it’s safe to say

This is exactly the problem I’m having. I think there are more people, especially among scifi fans, that think Rogue One (or Blade Runner 2049) was a great movie. I think they are looking at totally different things in a movie. I mean Rogue One, for example, I think it was a beautiful movie, but the characters and

OK, before you get all superlative about this thing, lets establish a baseline. Did you think any of the following was a 5/5 movie:

I think it was an aesthetically beautiful movie, but ultimately a great disappointment due to poor plot and character development (which was more akin to Lucasarts games but without the humour).

That’s how they actually made it strong. It has been playing against itself millions and millions of times, adjusting the “waits” based on how successful they were.

Yes, I liked how they didn’t underline Elliot’s paranoia as delusional or smart. But I have to say, and maybe I’ll add this to my review if I get around doing it, you just cant drill through aluminum casing of a hard drive (unless you have very specialized tools) and that’s what you mostly interested in destroying.

Yes, a lot better. I think it’s the first thing (other than Matrix) that has come close enough.

Yes, but I don’t think they’re really trying. I’m very curious about the second episode, I haven’t seen it yet. Hopefully they will keep it as smart as they can.

Well, I still wouldn’t call it accurate. It’s kinda like House depicts medicine. I’m actually thinking about creating some analysis about the show like this http://politedissent.com/house_pd.html since my day job is similar to Elliot’s, but not sure if I have the time.

He volunteered to assist Finland to fight the soviets in the Winter War.

We have free education and free internet (in most cities) and also free healthcare in Finland. It’s not exactly perfect, but I think it’s kinda ludicrous to compare them to “designer babies are the norm, space travel is available to everyone, and robots have personhood and even pay taxes”. Free education and free

I'm a security consultant and it continues to surprise me how systematically broken everything is while we still manage to have these cool things like the internet, electric payment, patient information systems without everything going boink all the time.

My wife suffered through similar treatment and she felt the mask was the absolute worst part. Constricting you absolutely immobile while listening to the whiz and whirl of the machine poisoning you with radiation.
