I totally agree with you.

I agree, my smartphone is used more than any other.. anything! I own. And don’t forget planner, reminder, alarm clock, video player, fapping companion.. etc.

I’m sorry. This sane, even-keeled and correct take on the debate will not be tolerated here. Good day, sir!

If people are willing to shell out a $100K for a luxury SUV that’s only moderately better than a $40k one, then I guess we can have a $1K phone too.

Android fan here, I appreciate your comment. There’s no doubt that Apple’s version of facial recognition will be better than Samsung’s (although Samsung’s devices still use fingerprint readers as well, so I suppose they didn’t need to perfect it).

It’s not that much more expensive that other top-tier phones...

It’s just that y’all americans are too used to getting “free” phones that you spend $33/month for as part of your 3-year contract and can’t figure out that you end up paying nearly $1200 for that phone in the end because math is hard....

You can also buy a laptop for a few hundred bucks. Same for a TV. Amazon sells tablets for tens of dollars. But you’re not getting the same stuff you’d get in a higher-end device.

I didn’t—I really loved the 6P, it was the best phone I ever owned, and I really liked stock Android (I still like it better then iOS overall, although things like imessage are great). My roommate did, however. He started having some of the battery issues that you mentioned, despite his being much newer then mine, and

I don’t understand why people are happy to spend $150 a month on television but i find it unfathomable to spend $45 on a device that you use more than any other, and that replaces your camera, gps, and music player.

Fun fact: Seal Team Six was named so that enemies of this country would wonder where the heck Teams Three, Four and Five were (there were only two Seal teams then, One and Two.) Confusion through obfuscation. Perhaps something similar is at play here

Not rightfully so: they couldn’t make a Windows 9 because it would ruin backwards compatibility with programs that interpreted “version = 9*” as 95 or 98.

The video said you record you face without glasses, then it doesn’t matter if you change your hair, put glasses on, or wear a scarf.

I have 10 pairs of glasses I cycle through, so this is good news for me.

Actually, you’re the one off base here. The key word here is “body”. They fit the larger screen into the a body smaller than the current iPhone 7 which has a 5.5 inch screen because of the legacy bezels. Taaadaaaaaa! Woof!

The iPhone 8's dimensions are larger than 5.5". But the display is 5.5" on the iphone 8, yet this is smaller but the screen is larger. Takes two seconds to understand this.

will they be providing a charger, or do we have to buy a third party one?

Yes. I’ve used wireless charging for four or five years. It’s an amazing feature that you don’t learn to love until you use it.

So only two memory options this time around.

I got bluetooth headphones. Never going back.

I am not an apple fanboy at all but I am sick of people complaining about this.

Has there EVER really been a cheap iPhone? lol. There is rarely a big price drop when a new model comes out. iPhones hold their value.
