I’m not kink-shaming.
I’m not kink-shaming.
It’s too late to correct my previous comment, but I read yours originally as “rum” and “coke” - separate entities, complimentary but consumed through different orifices.
If you live in a place that isn’t constantly freezing, then the choices coming soon (and available already) mean ... do it now.
... only if listening to Fleetwood Mac.
These are wonderful, wonderful cars. With the IMS and associated bits sorted, new clutch, and after you sort the alarm gremlins, it will provide you with many smiles. They’re not bulletproof, but among the most reliable sports cars imaginable.
914 Stan here. The 1.8 is a turd, and worse that it’s converted to carb. The body is seriously problematic. ‘73 is the most desirable of the later years, where the 2.0 being the most interesting of the non 6-cyl cars, but this is rough.
I had a loaner TLX (?) when my old MDX was in the shop. It got extremely intrusive when it thought you weren’t paying attention, like yanking on the steering wheel and flashing a bunch of yellow lights on the dash. I hated it.
#neverforget
I don’t know if it’s the most advanced, but it’s certainly the most adult.
If it’s purely a financial decision, it seems like it would make the most sense to buy a 2-3yo vehicle in their budget that won’t lose a tremendous amount of value for the next 4-5 years.
That’s an awesome and inspiring decision by your grandmother.
It’s weird how a number of the cars that didn’t visually appeal to me when they were new (or new-ish), I find desperately pretty now.
Last time I was in a dealership, it was to service my VW as well. They had a GTI in a special paint and upcharged it $14k. It was hilarious, and sad.
Neutral: I spent a large chunk of my adult life traveling for work (and fun). Having previously “planned” to get mild-medium sick up to 2x a year, I’m perfectly fine with my new normal-ish of wearing a mask everywhere I go when I encounter untrusted entities in close proximity.
Neutral: I would mandate the following: All OEMs must meet strict quotas of cars with actual colors. 27% of all vehicle sales must be electric blue, lime green, or a very vivid yellow or face penalties ranging from 2 years of being forced to drive a ‘78 Mustang II with a slush box, up to being required to lay naked,…
2nd Gear: I didn’t think Musk could out-douche himself, yet here we are.
You’ll be fine. It has a lengthened swingarm!
1st gear is ND. $5k can actually get you a decent car, not a 15 year old pontiac vibe. Perhaps even an interesting one. Go up $1500 and you can get a genuinely good car. A quick autotrader search turned up a ton of stuff within 50 miles of me that I’d be happy to see my kid drive.
Ouch!
1st Gear: This is how EVs will win. The batteries and associated tech will continue to drop in price while improving in range and quality.
