I think it is more to smooth out the demand curve.  More to encourage people to come in at off peak times than to discourage the peak traffic.

They are really selling this all wrong. They should have announced lower prices during off peak house.

My wife first noticed this issue this morning on her iPhone and our stepsons iPhone. She asked if I had service and I did, fully 5G LTE on my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. As well as full service on my Galaxy watch and my 2024 4Runner’s hot spot. It seems Android users are not nearly affect as iPhone users are.

Barring any bad behavior while incarcerated, I don’t see why reason why such a prisoner shouldn’t have first crack at any openings. I think that it’s necessary to avoid companies using prisoners as disposable cogs in the machine. Many years ago I saw a 60 Minutes piece about AZ women prisoners being used to answer…

More importantly, any prisoner that works for an outside company should be guaranteed a comparable job with that company once the sentence is served. If that worker is good enough when incarcerated, he’s good enough to hire as a free man.

That’s fine as long as the prisoner gets the money rather than the prison owner.  The profit motive needs to be removed from incarcerating people.  Society should incarcerate only those that truly need to be separated from the rest of society.

Sorry, I meant making you become a resource for another company, akin to normal prison labor. 

I didn’t know they let them engage with the public, I know that was why there was a body count for the candle factory tornado disaster a few years back. I am shocked house arrest doesn’t get something like that.

Snoop and Master P didn’t want the cereal marked up to $10. They’re accusing Wal-Mart of doing that to supress sales. So I guess in a way you are right.

I work in a Coke plant and tried the Spiced a couple of weeks ago. I guessed at a grape flavor, but if you say it’s raspberry, I’m ok with that. None of the new flavors will have me drinking a second can, including this one.  I hope y’all like it.

A good way to serve the sloppy joes is with tortillas instead of buns. They can be rolled up for less mess.
