her very recent conviction would likely exclude her from being bonded or insured

She could still run the fryolator as convictions aren’t nearly a problem to fast food jobs that finding somebody that will show up daily is, and she has an incentive to.  I’d be more concerned that people would know who she was and be a jerk to her on purpose.

I was not happy when I first read the title, but learning in the end that SHE has to find some place that will hire her or she goes to jail anyways is the cherry on top. It seems like this was more of a joke on the judge’s side to punish her further. Not only will she be denied employment repeatedly, at the end of

I would imagine there is also spot checking? Any idea how frequent it is? While one couldn’t get away with suddenly switching to another supplier, doing cutbacks on what goes in could fly under the radar for a while if they aren’t frequent with checks.

beginning December 28, “all restaurants will be required to honor all digital programs and promotions, including loyalty rewards and digital discounts.”

Everyone knows that was because of Obama!

holy shit, I think Murray caught himself a genuine Facebook-educated fuckwit

The franchises presumably have no control in the ingredients right? Like they won’t be able to select cheaper produce and meats from the supplier.

Trump raised the damn deficit more than Biden. Come back to reality.

There is a lot of competition, but this might be the dumbest thing anybody has ever typed.

Also, remarkably efficient at creating inflation since it was rising the month after he took office.  Everybody knows the US President has that sort of influence on the World Economy!

Isn’t being locked to a supplier pretty standard for franchises? Otherwise you could see problems where inconsistent product is sent to places and even abuse of relationships to get artificially low prices.

So Democrats printed money, spent it on ‘expensive and zero-results “green” energy projects(I’d love to hear which green energy projects you’re talking about)‘ and caused inflation throughout the entire world? That’s pretty damn impressive.

None of us who live outside the one and only metro area where they’re usually called bodegas (e.g. most people).

Totally agree! For me, it is the drive thru. Although some fast casual places have curbside pick up, and that’s just as good.

I’m guessing the drive thru is a huge factor as to why people still do fast food. What I find curious is that for all the news about increases in fast food prices, nobody seems to mention that portions are getting smaller as well, making fast food an even worse value than portrayed.

Yeah, I can see this. There is some legit good gas station fried chicken out there, for example, and you can get a massive leg, thigh, and a ton of fries for $5.

Sounds more like a Michelle Obama plot to me...

What I’ve noticed in my area and places I travel to is that fast food prices have gone up quite a bit but fast casual / local joints haven’t kept the same pace. There’s a local burger chain by me that has really good 1/3 lb patty burgers for $8.69 (including their specialty burgers with different toppings). Their

Joe Biden: Responsible for all the inflation everywhere in the world, but especially at your local McD’s, obviously. I mean, why wouldn’t he want your fries to cost more?
